    This is just what i needed! I was always too conscious of using too much brake and stalling or spinning. Thank you !

    J'ai ma licence depuis 1 année, mais j'avoue souvent avoir un mauvais timing, tes exercices sont si bien expliqués que j'attends plus qu'un bout de ciel sans pluie pour les essayer. Je suis déçu de ne pouvoir mettre qu'un pouce et pas 10. Merci!

    Merci Théo. Au niveau des timings j'aime beaucoup les explications de David Eyraud pour tout comprendre logiquement, mais ta version est intuitive aussi :)

    Thanks for this very informative tutorial. I’ve done these in SIV and a little more practice in general flying, it’s always great to watch your tutorials as well, helps take any questions out of it.

    ❤ Nice I like detailed explanations, I was always worried I could do colaps if I break shooting to much, and ended up doing not strong enough.

    Cool, thanks for nice tutorial!
    I think not all dives forward need to be stopped, since there could be an effect when you pass from area/altitude with huge wind to calm - and in order to get speed back your wing is going to dive forward. You don't want to stall it, right? so this dive is needed to have air-speed. Think in sence of air speed not to stall the wing

      @theoflies  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      This is called a gradient yes, this is a different kind of dive but you might need to stop it if it is too strong. Some dive don’t need to be stopped cause they are small yet they are making you loose performance. But if you enter a small gradient it’s better to let the glider fly. If you enter a big gradient it’s better to stop the dive and then let the glider fly.

    Very good! I have two questions. 1st: Is there any difference in initiating your dynamic turn when you're passing under the glider when you're coming back from the dive than when you're coming back from your pitch up climb? 2nd: Is it possibble to add to the pitching movements by using your body like on a swing (stretching/folding your legs and or moving your torso back or forwards)? I've been experimenting with it recently and it seems to have some influence (open harness) :-) Thank you very much, Theo. You're really fueling up my learning!

    @theo What is you camera setup on your leg? I couldn’t find any product. May I ask what you use?

    When pitching, is it possible to come on top of the paraglider and the paraglider to be below you ?

    Hey Theo, thank for your awesome videos, it helps a lot💪
    i have a single skin glider (skyman sir edmund2).
    Do you think there is a big difference in the behavior to a normal glider when you are doing some of those exercises?
    Best Regards

    • @theoflies
      @theoflies  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Oh yes it’s very very different. You will have almost no pitch movement on a single skin. Roll can be done but pitch is really tamed

    I have years of flying RC model aeroplane experience. I am now switching to fly paraglider. When I watch paragliding tutorial videos, I always try to relate to flying model aeroplane. He demonstrates roll in the video. At 18:19, 18:20, he says "I initiate the roll, the glider turns ". Does he mean "I initiate a roll, the glider swing ?" I don't see a roll will end in a turn. If it does, is it the characteristics of paraglider ? (I'm just trying to relate the roll to a turn ). Hope i get some constructive explanation here.

    The dynamic turn, is it a kind of a wingover?
    By the way, what is the french word for it?

    • @theoflies
      @theoflies  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not really, it follows part of the wing over principle with starting to turn at the right moment but the goal is very different. With the dynamic turn you want to use the energy you have to change direction to thermal more efficiently for exemple without loosing nor building up energy while with the wing over you want to build up energy at every turn to gradually have more and more to pass above your wing

    • @theoflies
      @theoflies  ปีที่แล้ว

      And in french it’s : virages dynamiques
