Hey Ricky! Great advice and very timely with Q4 just around the corner. Coming back from VidSummit, my mind is filled with about 50 things I want to do to grow my business. I need to decide which one is my most actionable goal I can put into place right now.

I have a secret trick i do, as I work from home on my own stuff. Each evening, I take a piece of paper and write down all the tasks I'd like to accomplish the next day, leave it on my desk, then pretend my "boss" has left this note for me and I better get this stuff done. It actually works for me, silly as it sounds.

Silly is good if it’s working for you! Great idea

I'd love to catch a glimpse of your pretend surprised face when you notice your boss has left you a list of things to do lolol.

@@whocares7912 I deliberately worry myself too, if I'm behind with things. I have to get it done or he's going to be furious. There is no option, it must be done.

Hi Ricky, batching tasks works well for me. I record a bunch of videos in one sitting. Then edit them in one sitting. Then upload them all and schedule them. Do all the thumbnails at one time. Really helps stay focused and productive. Thanks for the video!

Such solid advice! Find the "one thing" to do, don't get distracted and DO IT!

How I do stay productive is coming up with a form of reward for myself for completing an important goal (daily)
A reward as simple as a glass of my favourite drink, and this has been working for me

    For me it's 3 things. 1. Traffic 2. Traffic 3. Traffic .. and I just thought of a 4th thing. 😅

Hey there, do you kow why I liked your older videos? They start outside the studio. You still make high quality content. But I liked them better.

I'm going to get moving on creating the new lead guitar course I've been promising my subscribers for months. The thing about doing this stuff full time is you think you have more time but so many things can pop up throughout the day.
One thing I need to do is set aside large blocks of time, 3-4 hours, where I'm working on just one thing, undisturbed, for that period of time that I need to finish it (could be Mon-Wed, 10am-4pm, for the next 3 weeks, for example). Because, yes, all the other things still need to continue (TH-cam videos, socials, etc).

Yes! Set aside everything else that you can and give yourself blocks of time. Being full time doesn’t mean you’ll use that time efficiently…
I think I used to be more productive when I had less time because it was focused time. I’m working on regaining that focus for more of my work time.

My problem is sometimes having too complex of projects, so they don't get done. Simple and "done" is better much better than never completed. :-)
Some good points in your video, Ricky!
