    Gonna try this making a horse instead of the dragon. Awesome use of the wires to hold the stone and enhance the artistry of the piece!!!!

    Love this - I am going to try and make it but without being able to hear it and no closed captioning available it might be hard for me - I don't usually even bother with video's that don't have closed captioning but this one hooked me.

    It's a splendid dragon - and I'm definitely going to try making one. However, I do have some suggestions to make it easier for your viewers to keep up. I wish you put the measurements on your template too, so all the information is all together in one place. I also wish you would talk about what you're doing, rather than staying silent with the music (though the music is pretty enough) - I just feel there could be more details you could share with us - like the size of the file you use for the ends of the wings, and are you filing them to a point or to dull the point, for example, or the kind of pliers you use. And what's the name of that baby anvil - and where can we buy one? Do you sell supplies in your store? It's frustrating to watch you wrapping the head/eyes - with so many wires, it's really not clear which ones you are wrapping over and under. Even at half speed, it's difficult to tell - a voice over would really be helpful. It would be so much easier if you used words to also explain it - or put the details of these steps in your template. I'm not meaning to be picky here. Overall, this is a really beautiful project and I appreciate your sharing the steps so we can all learn how to do this. It's just this is my first wire wrapping piece and I want to know as many details as possible, so I don't buy the wrong tools. I really want to be able to recreate this gorgeous dragon as closely as I can. Thanks for creating such great videos about your art. I hope you can make it easier for those of us who really want to try to recreate your dragons. They're really so beautiful.

    I'll take the base of this and change it into an ear piece where the Dragon wriggles around the auricle, peeking from the top of the auricle, with its tail lurking from underneath the earlobe

    I'm new to this craft and haven't made anything yet, just collecting craft tips and such. May I please know why you use a file on such soft metal, won't that scratch it and what sanding grade is that file? Thank you

    • @GemseekerStudio
      @GemseekerStudio  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, that scratch a little bit but it is only the first step. You need to polish it properly.

    You know, I love your design work! But your videos have much to be desired.... Have you watched anyone else to see how they do theirs? Your camera isn't close enough for us to see what weaving pattern you're using, nor how to do it. I did notice you put up a still in the upper right when you were wrapping the neck, but doesn't show us how you created it. The video is boring because all we're watching is your hands going 100 miles per hour & not being able to see what you're doing. If language is an issue, I suggest you watch some videos of Lan Ana Handmade. Most of her designs are not as detailed as yours, but she is easy to learn from because she sets everything out in sections. I don't mean to make you feel bad, I just want you to be more popular. You deserve it! Blessings........
