This gear has been very useful on my end. It has traveled internationally as well. The only issue i have is what you mentioned. Packing it. The straps are short, one of them doesn't quite reach to close it properly. Almost all the straps start to twist. You really have to push down to get a decent amount to close them. But a very useful tool indeed. I has hauled heavy equipment.
I just brought one. I'm having trouble also folding back. It seems like the straps are not long enough.
Yeah the straps are really short. You can kinda of get a decent strap if you collapse using some of your body weight to press downwards
I see I'm not the only one having trouble folding this thing back up. I just bought one and can't get it compressed enough to get it put away.

I’m not sure if you were able to fix your problem, but if you adjust the wheels, turn them outward that seem to compact the wagon more
