This is basically the mangaka saying the isekai formula got stale and even the NPCs are getting sick of constant "suprises" and "herculean feats of might". It's gotten to a point where a protagonist with garbage stats, no special tricks or familiars who wants to die is a more interesting character.
And the part where he has no interest in doing the whole save the world type of fate.

Ngl, that would be so freshly meta, the therapist breaking down the different isekai/fantasy stereotypical characters and their stereotypical behaviour in order to make them be more realistic and be more efficient.

Closest thing in theme i know is - "im definetly not evil gods lackey" or something like that - guy isekaied with all the earth books, makes terapy talk than sels them books, books contain godly powers but he doesnt realize it over all giod comedy but shallow world and characters 5/10
