Transcripción de la Historia en Inglés: I remember my childhood and adolescence as a happy time. I lived in a small town with my parents and sister. Our house was 25 kilometers away from the high school that my grandfather founded. We were very far from the hustle and bustle of the city, so whenever we went there for any reason, we enjoyed it a lot. I was 16 years old, and one day my father asked me to drive him to the city. He had to attend some conferences all day. Meanwhile, I had to run some errands, including taking the car to the shop for a check-up. “Great!” I thought. I could run the errands quickly and enjoy the rest of the time as I pleased. My father asked me to pick him up at 5 PM. As soon as I left the car at the shop, I got the idea to go to the movies. They were showing a John Wayne film! So, I got carried away and lost track of time. When I looked at the clock... it was 5:30! I ran out, picked up the car, and arrived almost two hours late at the place where I was supposed to meet my father. He was waiting very worried at the doors of the building where the conferences had been held. He looked at me very seriously and asked: “Why are you late?” I couldn’t tell him that I had gone to the movies... What would he think of me? So without hesitation, I said: “It turns out that they took longer than expected at the shop.” I said this without knowing that my father had already called the mechanic. Realizing my lie, he said very calmly: “Something is not right. What you are telling me is not true, and there are only two ways to interpret what just happened: The first is to conclude that you’re lying and you have behaved badly, therefore the punishment is for you. The second is that the one who hasn’t educated you well and has failed is me, so the punishment is for me.” My father, always keeping in mind the teachings of my grandfather Gandhi, chose the second option. He told me that he would walk home as he needed to reflect on what had happened. And so he began to walk, in his elegant shoes, through narrow and dangerous paths... And since I couldn’t leave him alone in such dark places, I drove the car behind him for five hours. That day marked me forever. I felt so much pain seeing my father walk more than 25 kilometers that I never lied again. If my father had unleashed all his anger on me, that lesson would have lasted only a day. By taking responsibility himself, he made sure that lesson lasted my entire life. Gandhi lived demonstrating that nonviolence is much more powerful than violence. “There is no way to peace; peace is the way.” With this historic phrase, he summarized one of his highest values, and for which he is still remembered today. You can fight for ideals without resorting to violence, for any reason and under any pretext.

La historia es A BIG LIE. Gandhi no prestó atención a sus hijos quines estaban sumidos en el alcoholismo. Y su supuesta No-violencia es cuestionable. ¿Poner a dormir desnuda a sus sobrinas nietas con él igual de desarropado? Nop, nop, nop. Dejar morir a su esposa con tal que no la violentaran con una inyección de penicilina. Nop, nop. ODIÉ LA HISTORIA. Habría sido mejor que inventaran un personaje y NO INVENTARAN esos principios que NUNCA inculcó a sus hijos; no le importaron.
Es cierto que en una sociedad abierta a todo tipo de ideas y que acepte los descubrimientos científicos se corre el riesgo de volverse homogénea si todos piensan y actúan de la misma manera. Sin embargo, la diversidad de pensamientos y opiniones es esencial para el progreso y la evolución de la sociedad. Aceptar los descubrimientos científicos como una base común no significa que todos deban pensar igual en todos los aspectos de la vida. La ciencia proporciona un fundamento sobre el cual podemos construir diferentes perspectivas y soluciones a los problemas. La diversidad de opiniones fomenta la creatividad, la innovación y el debate constructivo, lo cual es vital para una sociedad dinámica y en constante evolución. Es importante aprender a convivir con opiniones diferentes y a valorar la diversidad de pensamientos, ya que esto enriquece nuestra comprensión del mundo y nos ayuda a enfrentar los desafíos de manera más efectiva. Así, aunque algunas opiniones puedan parecernos molestas o irracionales, son una parte fundamental de una sociedad libre y abierta.
