You still get basically the same experience; everyone who talks in voice chat always thinks they're right and yells at you and calls you poopy words when you don't immediately agree with them. I've played a lot of OW2. Finding three toxic people in your first two games is just unlucky. Usually the ratio is about one in every two games. (About in line with tf2 from what I've seen). Admittedly, the people who aren't toxic in overwatch don't use voice chat as much as the non-toxic people in TF2.

Tf2 does this as well except if you fire a bullet or fire or stab someone they get salty basically if you don't let them dance or taunt they get mad most of the time at least that's what I see every time I play the game
I used to love this game so much when it came out when everyone had fun and no one knew what they were doing since it was brand new. Then, once people started catching on, we all saw the flaws as well as how extremely team dependent it was. That still doesn't stop the same people that solo the enemy team over and over so they blame everyone but themselves. You're lucky if people try grouping up to fight with you. Unlike TF2, where sometimes an individual can almost carry a whole team, this game, if you don't all work together, it falls apart. When it's fun, it's that same level of joy and satisfaction as when people work like a well oiled machine. Otherwise, just ggez haha. I'm glad you were able to make even the typical toxic experience funny and enjoyable despite it. If you can, group up with friends and at least you guys can have fun or suffer together.
My first overwatch experience was starting the game, waiting until about 12 at night, going to bed and then finding out the servers were fixed 2 days later and now I was too sleep deprived to play.

I, too, thought people were joking when I read "and then AT&T got involved." The connection errors were on-and-off. I crashed once or twice, but that was a day or so after launch. I remember when i used to play overwatch back in the day. Tank/healing main, luckily I'm in recovery been clean for 3+ years! I am now leading a much happier and healthier life! No more overwatch for me :)
I think the problem is the team size. In tf2 there are always 2 or 3 angry people but you dont notice as much because there are 10 other people on your team. If there are 2 or 3 angry people in OW2 that is half your team disgruntled:)
