grappler vs projectile airs and a Big ass down smash. i got two stocked by a G&W at 10% with a freeze and 9 hammer. Ben is aware of his recovery, up-air, side-air potential, his specialties. Mr. G&W about them numbers, G&W aint no hoe 😂😂 he can be top 5 or bottom 1 depending on who's playing and what he's up against.

And not even just them, Mark got Cloud and Dylan got Richter!
Casual and comp are different. If they character doesn't have a way to kill at all times they're bad in casual. And they don't understand advantage state. There were so many times where Leland had mark off stage with no jump and just stood at ledge

I hate it when mark sets these dumbass rules when it comes to 2v2 in smash where you’re supposed only fight one person in DOUBLES when in fact the whole point in doubles is to team UP and jump the other person. Like i hate it so much the fights would’ve been more cleaner and fair if that rule that mark set wasn’t in factor. Little does he know it puts a restrain on their performance and their opponent’s performance but ofc ima be labeled as a “hater” when i am just trying to give contractive criticism towards this lack luster gameplay.
He just talking shit, them "rules" go out the window if he starts losing. Idk how many times ive seen mark call something weak then do it himself 10 seconds later😭😭

There would be almost no point in watching these without that rule. Like I legit wonder how often you're willing to watch singles Smash vids vs doubles vids where dudes get cheap killed either from friendly fire or from getting attacked from behind.

AND if they decide to get over their aversion of stages with platforms, and start actually playing on different stages, it would make it even more spacious and open for fair 1's for doubles. Id really like to see 2v2s that are actually 2v2s. These are just 2 1v1s happening on the same stage. Its especially frustrating cause theyre trying so hard to respect the 1v1 that if someone gets in the way, they literally cant do anything. A lot of games would have been much closer or would have had a different result if a player didnt have to afk while waiting for another person to move out of the way so they can continue fighting. Or if anyone was actually bothering to help their teammate, the matches would have been more even. Leland wouldnt have gotten that win with IC if both Mark and Dylan fought together.

The way they play is weak af.. You can’t jump even in a team game? They stick to one side and fight the same person over and over. They would hate playing with my family because we fight everybody and if we’re on teams at the end we jump. Ben and lee lost a couple games that they should’ve won because they have to wait until whatever fight is going on is over. It’s so frustrating to watch & it’s not how smash is supposed to be played.
Do watch doubles Smash vids anywhere near as much as you watch Singles? If not, you actively disprove your own point. These vids wouldn't be worth watching if they were full of cheap deaths.
@@blanktrigger8863 they play the same way when it’s singles. It’s supposed to be “free-for-all” but is just 1 vs 1 all the way through. It’s not appealing to watch and I stopped halfway through the video because it’s just not entertaining to watch Dylan vs Ben / Leland vs Mark over and over and over. While somebody sits in the corner doing absolutely nothing until somebody is completely stocked out. It’s trash and you gotta admit that.
@@coldworldkel Right, and my point is that if they don't play that way, you're not really seeing a skilled based match. That's why singles is more interesting, in general. If you want to play simply for the fun it, that's when you do all the chaotic stuff.
(There's also an inherent attempt to keep the games balanced for the sake of content. For example, Mark always goes against Leland cause it's easier for them to stomp anyone else than it is for them stomp each other.)

Or at least add Aff and ippie who can actually play the game to make it entertaining. Ippie is the best in the house but they don’t include him in it when in reality he really is the unofficial 8th member of RDC. If Ben and Dylan suck then take them out the game. Because what this is, isn’t watchable. And they can’t even have a “main”. They do randoms (again for skill based reasons, but that doesn’t make it fun to watch)
