Just got one with the performance pckg and Brembo brakes. What a fun car. Had a 91 GT back in the day. This one blows it away. Can't beat the smoken the tires in seconed gear, though.

Is there a higher performance package for the Ecoboost I4? They say 315 hp 350 ft lbs. is the Premium version that has more power? Also can you shut off the stop / start like other cars ? My wife likes the looks of this one.
There is high performance pkg that is available but its all for handling and braking, no additional horsepower. No stop/start on Mustang if im correct. Its a great car, pretty quick too!
If your 2024 Mustang has a stop/start feature in it there is no option, at least that it comes with, to turn it off permanently. There is however a large amount of 2024 Mustangs that were produced during the chip shortage where they didn’t include the stop/start feature in some 2024s so if you don’t like that feature you can get lucky and find some that don’t come with it. I just test drove a 24 GT Mustang last week that didn’t have the Stop/Start feature in it
I wondered on the stop/start, we have it on our 2022 Edge ST with the 2.7 twin turbo engine. It has a rocker switch to turn it off, but you have to turn it off every time you start it. Who in the world ever thought that stopping a turbo engine with oil circulation was a good idea? And you can’t permanently disable it. It is the stupidest idea I’ve seen beside not having a pause to shut off for the same reason? A turbo engine should be allowed 30-40 seconds at idle before shutting it off. And for no reason should you have a start/stop of oil circulation to a pair of turbos .
I'm so close to ordering my ecoboost, I'm just trying to decide if I want that active valve exhaust and what speaker set up I want. I test drove a few and compared to my 08' v6, this this GOES. I of course really want a v8 but the cheaper cost to buy/own/maintain plus being able to afford all the features I want is worth more to me than 4 more cylinders. Plus I don't race or go to tracks so a v8 really isn't something I need.
I would get the active valve exhaust if you enjoy a bit more sport sound. As far as the audio, if you can get the B&O, I would get it..sounds excellent..Thanks for watching!

I cannot believe how much uglier and downgraded the 2024 is from the s550. It doesn't even come with hood vents anymore like REALLY? It's so bad. Zero reason to get this over an s550

They are slowly making the V8 inaccessible to meet higher CAFE standards. Having said that the Ecoboost variant is a surprisingly good bargain.
I loved my 08 GT but im more than happy with my eco boost. It is so much fun to drive and the ride is extremely smooth.

Yes you can, but you have to get the Ecoboost "High 101" pkg.
So sad they dont come manual, gotta wait for a used gt i guess because the gt price is absurd right now

The GT comes with hood vents, the Ecoboost does not..
