Great video and terrific tones! When I think of Death Metal PRS players first one to come to mind is Ryan Knight from The Black Dahlia Murder! He plays "dad guitars" per the other band members!
Great video. I got a PRS CE (USA) and I was shocked at how much I loved the 85/15 TCI pickups. I expected them to not be able to do metal based on the DC resistance documented on PRS website, but man they are great.
" I expected them to not be able to do metal based on the DC resistance documented on PRS website." What does this mean, how high do you think the output was on the guitars in the early thrash days? lol...
Holy crap!!!... how did this come up in my recommendations!! WILL!. You recorded and produced our CD for Dead Letter Office aka Dark Light Oblivion some 4ish years ago.. Sorry to go all 'school girl'... So pumped on your success man! You're awesome.. keep up the great work. I follow your band on Facebook also.
I switched to PRS just because I love playing big full chords when I play black metal and the radius is the most comfortable. I play a s2 standard in satin, and I only got it for the satin finish and the beveled body for comfort… but that fucking thing shreds any metal I put through it
Great review man, and very nice collection! I loooove the look of that purple one 👌👌👌 Thanks for doing this video, there aren’t many death metal PRS reviews out there and i had to hear the HFS in this context 😄 How do you feel about it? I have one that ive been on the fence about putting it in one of my CU24s…i have an HFS in the 7 string and it sound good, but its very picky about amp settings & EQ…Have you tried the \m/? The 85/15 has been my favorite as well so far! P.S. Congrats on being a Pulse Artist!

They are fantastic for all kinds of music, but they don't get enough love from the metal world imo. These things are truly awesome!
Opeth, Katatonia and The Ocean make great music with them! Love PRS @1459Studiosmpls
What string gauge do you use?

I just feel embarrassed that I’m thinking of changing pups of my PRS.
There’s definitely other important thing, that might be practicing🤣
