    Your new mic works perfectly and really enjoyed the walk about. That is very cool of you to provide the wild animals a cold drink in harsh summer heat. Thanks for sharing!!

    Nice walk around tour to test those new DJI microphones Steve! Which drone did you get? Feathers are nice to find. Definitely bring on the monsoons for you all! We are hitting 50% humidity. Typical hot and muggy in upper 90s. When is well day again?

      Hi Marshall - I purchased the DJI Mini 4 Pro. Drilling starts on the 24th.

    Interesting stroll, Steve. Have seen many of those washes, but seldom filled with flowing water. I have on a few occasions, even across the road. 🤣🤣I was astute enough to turn around! We'll be doing our rain dance for you. Hope it helps!

    That was interesting, thanks Steve. Apart from "The Wet" (monsoons) I suspect you also must get some significant "Dust Storms" occasionally to. I've experienced two major dust storms (of many) here in my time. It's not easy to forget that choking feeling and the resultant clean up afterwards. That dust permeates everything. What we call "The Wet" season here affects mostly the northern parts of Australia and is characterised by very hot days, high humidity, monsoonal rains and possible cyclones (tornados) and mostly occurs around November to April. Living in large countries, it's a constant wonder to see all the many contrasts and variations our environments display. Cheers mate. ❤🦘

      Yup - we have dust storms here too as storm fronts move through. Haboobs are common. Thanks Janice!

    Glad the Monsoon is on it's way and that the rain will do it's job Steve! I really enjoyed the walkabout in your Zip Code! Has to be such a blessing to wake up to the Silence of The Desert! The few sounds that hang out there during the days and nights are so satisfyingly surreal. It always reminds me of when we lived in Riverside, Ca. when I was a pup and we'd go to Corona Del Mar on weekends during the Summer to stay with my Dad's Mom, Jan! Her house was right on the beach of Little Corona and I loved the quiet silence of the waves and seagulls! Your Orange tree remined me of all the orange grove fields around our Riverside home. Dad was then stationed at the old March AFB and we lived off base in a 1908 Victorian home that i snow in the center of Riverside as a Historical fixture. The University Of California At Riverside replaced all the orange groves. The only two structures that are still standing are a Chevon Gas Station and the UPS hub. This was a great memory trip for me Steve and thanks for helping me open my vault! Enjoy Nature's Bath! MOO

    ASARCO Silver Bell Mine has a spring that's connected to the ground water of course which they use. And the agricultural use out there must take a great deal of water as well. I'm sorry about your well. I don't like to hear that you're having to drill for a new one. Is it expensive to have water delivered to you and Okie's property? I've always wanted to buy some land out there myself. So I'm interested about the water situation. We're in a little drought for this month of June here in Virginia. I hope Arizona has a good monsoon this summer. Great video Steve. 😊

      We have a standpipe account with Marana Water and haul water in totes as we need it. It’s pretty cheap water at about 6 dollars per 1000 . That’s cheaper than a well but i don’t want to be hauling water in my 70s . Getting to old for that 😂 I’ll report on how the well drilling goes.

    Nice one Steve, I was thinking about an extra drone also since the deal about dji. Is the new mics the DJI2? and how easy to connect to GoPro? I ordered mine a few months ago, Im very pleased with them, they sync up with my Action 4 cam instantly, no special things needed. Easy to hook up to my Iphone also. I havent even used all the bells n whistles it has like the backup audio etc.

    • @DesertAdventuresinArizona
      @DesertAdventuresinArizona  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes this is the DJI2. I haven’t tried it with a Go Pro yet John. It works great with my IPhone 14 tho! The only thing I had to do to set it up was select preferred language.

    Funny most people other places hope it doesn't rain but here in the desert we love the rain. Good warning to never cross in a rain storm.

    Whoa! I didn’t know that about DJI. Oh wow the orange cloudy is to do with the monsoon? I didn’t know that either. I thought it was just a dust cloud lol. Nice that you have surveillance. Jessie just said “yeah he’s close to the border right?” Then you said that about migrants. That’s a huge water level drop. So scary, I think. Cuz that’s in a lot of areas. Jessie spotted your cargo trailer. Need to build that into a camper 😂. Woodpeckers can be pretty, but gosh they’re obnoxious lol.

      Yup - We heard later that New Mexico was sharing their dust with us. We also had rain 50 miles east of us. I’m 6’2” and can’t stand up in the Trailer so no building this one!

    • @HappyPlaceCamping
      @HappyPlaceCamping 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@DesertAdventuresinArizona haha yeah you probably would want a taller trailer for a build.
