Stray kids x Stay relationship is indeed special, and I think that because we have had so many obstacles and difficulties we've grow closer. I've been a stay for two years now, and I can really tell that they genuinely care about us, and always find a way to let us know how important we are! You didn't ask for it, but I'll give you some facts as examples of what im saying: - Chan's room. Bangchan goes live every single Sunday to chat and interact with us! he recommend music, he often give advice and encouragement words too. He never misses a live even if his agenda is full, and when he does, he usually make it up doing 2 lives in a week. He always finishes with a virtual hug. - Hyunjin have a series where he reads Stays worries as well. Actually, all of them have a live series, and are very active in vlive. Usually their lives last more than an hour. - They have dedicated to stay a lot of songs, such as: you can stay, My side, I am you and my universe. - They're always telling Stays to not miss any meal time! in bubble you'll see them constantly asking stays if they already eat. They play a lot with Stays, and Seungmin every single night send a message saying: you did well today! Lee know and Changbin do this too... yeah, might seem something not that big, but for us is really wholesome. - The maknaes are always uploading pictures in Instagram for Stays - They take every opportunity they have to mention and thank Stays! if you watch any of their reality shows, or when they go to variety show as guests, you'll see them mentioning Stays at least twice. - When Hyunjin's hiatus was announced, they were in a sns ban :( but even in that situation, they tried to find ways to communicate with us. Bangchan changed his pp like 8 with the SAME PIC, Felix changed his name for a dot, etc. It's really heartwarming that everytime something happens, we worry about them, but they worry about us worrying about them hehehe :( sorry, this is kind of long, and my English is broken, but I tried my best at giving my point. Just so you know.. Right at this moment, StrayKids is facing another struggle w/ Hyunjin being on hiatus.. Right after Han's issue , now it's him.. Even going into hiatus in the middle of their competition in Kingdom, his bday & today their 3rd anniversary.. Straykids has been through a lot for short span of 3 yrs.. And as a Stay, it's also hard for us to see them struggle like this. We really hope that things will go back to normal & so we can continue to enjoy their music without any hurdles or issues. Yes, they are unlike any others! I've became a k-pop fan because of them and I've never listened to k-pop before but their unique music made me fall into the black hole of k-pop and now I'm listening to many groups but I stan only them, because of their passion, talent and everything they give to their fans. Idk, but Stray Kids make you feel so special, like you aren't just a fan, but a part of something bigger, part of family. They treat themselves as a family and they treat STAYs the same way. Chan chose them because he wanted to be with them for the rest of his life, that's why they have that strong bond and treat eachother like brothers. And you're right. Stray Kids stands for all abandoned and astray kids in the world, whom feels like they don't belong where they are and need a safe place. The slogan "Stray Kids all around the world" don't mean that Stray Kids want to be everywhere all around the world. Original meanning was that all the astray and lonely kids all around the world can come to them, come to Stray Kids and become a family. And why the fandom name is STAY? That's the second slogan "You make Stray Kids STAY" - Bang Chan said that if you put out the R from Stray it remains STAY and STAY is the Reason for Stray Kids existance. They make songs about mental health, anxiety, insomnia, identity crisis, growing and many other important topics. They currently broke the record hold previously by BTS for the fastest male k-pop group to surpassed 1 billion strems on Spotify and are currently 4th most streamed male group in k-pop ever and 2nd most monthly streamed male group after BTS only and 2nd most viewed male group on YT (in 2021) after BTS only, yet they are still extremely underrated, especially in Korea. I think this bond is unique to stray kids and stay, there really has been so much that we’ve gone through together. It’s really sad to see but almost daily these boys and even the fandom is put to blame for pointless things, people bring in their hardest struggles into arguments that have nothing to do with the matter, and stays have been literally protecting and fighting for them every time. And they see it too, they’re always on social media, they know when something goes wrong and they’ll post smth and hint towards it with encouraging words. They’ve shared inside jokes with stays online and brought them to vlive, they’ve found fandom accounts and matched them to their owners at fansigns, they memorize faces at shows and can name them sometimes at fansigns, they talk about viral fanedits and comments, like they’re PRESENT AND WATCHING. Sometimes if they come across a specific struggle on live they’ll answer directly to them. With socials and stuff like bubble they can literally text us random things and they’re almost always telling us to embrace the day or eat well too

Tbh skz seem connected to stay in a special way. i've been a fan of other groups (not kpop) but they always keep fans at arms length. skz feel like they draw some of their strength from fandom as well though. maybe it's a well constructed fantasy, of course, but it doesn't feel like it.

yea i think there is some sort of different connection with every fandom and stay's have incredibly supportive idols to look up to. even fans from different fandoms tune in to chan's room cuz it's widely known in kpop fandom that his lives are very calming and he gives good advice.
Watching their first award win really hit hard. It was essentially them trying to pull themselves together for long enough to give a speech and then crying together again. I genuinely believe that these are some of the sweetest most hard working boys out there that deserve the world. I’m glad that you’ve been able to also see that and have become a stay as well! I've been into kpop for 6 years and I have never and I repeat NEVER felt this kind of connection between an artist and the fandom. I know every artist loves their fans but with stray kids it's different because we've been through so many obstacles and we only have each other to rely on. we always got up stronger at the end of all the hardships. stays are always the first people that skz think of and thank whenever they achieve something (even if it isn't because of us) and we truly don't deserve them. the amount of love that they have for us is so heartwarming because they truly are so humble and they always talk about how they don't deserve such love (which is bs if you ask me). they only kept running into obstacles and endured so many hardships and they only had us by their side through it all. they unfortunately have an insane amount of haters and we have to protect and defend them every single day (either by reporting the accounts or sending emails to jype to take legal action against malicious comments) and they see all of that, they see everything. they're so invested in the fandom and they keep up with all of our inside jokes and memes, they know about everything. they truly care so much. they're so thankful for everything and they always try to repay and thank us by constantly releasing content and showering us with love in every single way possible and we in return shower them with even more love. it's a never-ending cycle. they literally stan us back and the love that we give them is reciprocated.. it might sound weird to others but once you truly get into the fandom, you'll never feel more loved by random 8 strangers that will somehow end up feeling like your best friends.
Stray Kids shares A LOT of content with us so we feel like we have gotten to know them over the years. My favorite content is when they are just being themselves in behind the scenes type videos like SKZ Talker or The 9th.
This episode had me cry, all the comments just hit you in the face and the relationship they have with stays is just so special, that's why I love them so much! Being a stay is actually really special I’ve been into kpop way before they debuted and I stanned them immediately ( never happened to me before) and they became my ult in less than a year I don’t know how to explain it with word they have this special thing about them they really just be hitting different
So I'm part of a few fandoms now. And I'm still a baby Stay but I can already say I've never felt so loved and truly appreciated by people I've never met before. It honestly just feels different with Stray Kids. All groups adore their fans ofc! But being a Stay just feels different. You can just feel how much they mean their words to us.

My wife and I tried not to cry. She mentioned how much better communication can be between a band like Skz and we fans because of technology (vlives for instance.) Growing up we only had magazines for our idols - nice, but not the same connection.)

i think the reason it feels different is because we have been through so much as both fan and artist and have somehow managed to survive yet again. of course all artists have it hard but for a time it felt like stray kids had this never ending dark cloud above them and during times like that we really only had each other so when we say we’re all each others got, we mean it. 2019 was a very challenging year as you can imagine and instead of giving up they worked even harder and so we as fans worked harder. i think we inspire each other in the best way and for that i am grateful to have found them and see how much they treasure their fans. thank you for watching these and i really hope you’ve enjoyed them ✨✨

Also you nailed the meaning of their name really close-stray kids everywhere all around the world can also mean them and their music everywhere, but as they themselves said, it means this is for everyone who's adrift, alone, or just a stray. I have been a kpop fan for 4 years and I had the same group as my ult, literally no group could 'overthrow' them, but when I found skz last year, they quickly gained a place in my heart. I will always love the other groups I stan and my first ult, but skz really make me feel like I'm at 'home'. Their songs are so incredibly personal, even more after knowing that they do it all by themselves, and they always feel like a comforting presence since they keep reminding us via social media to take care of ourselves, they share inside jokes, they make constant vlives where they just talk about random things or even talk about their own struggles (like for example han's last vlive where he opened up more about his social anxiety), as well as they try to make sure everyone feels welcomed (fun fact but if you're on stay twitter, stays are mostly poc and/or ppl from the lgbtq+ community lol). We've been through a lot along with them, since for some reason the kids tend to be targeted constantly either by antis on twitter or by.. actual big media *cough* mnet *cough* so i think that made us even more united, since they constantly check and try to comfort us during times like these

Also to answer ur question at the end of the video, I feel it is a special connection between Skz and Stay. Being as genuine as I can they make me very happy. When they release new music it always seems to always fit my mood or "hit different". I would say that Stay is more of a Family with Skz rather than a fandom, we feel each others pain and happiness. I have tried to "get into" or "join" other fandoms, but they don't feel the same, Skz is my home away from home and I will always be a STAY

I've been into kpop for 6 years and I have never and I repeat NEVER felt this kind of connection between an artist and the fandom. I know every artist loves their fans but with stray kids it's different because we've been through so many obstacles and we only have each other to rely on. we always got up stronger at the end of all the hardships. stays are always the first people that skz think of and thank whenever they achieve something (even if it isn't because of us) and we truly don't deserve them. the amount of love that they have for us is so heartwarming because they truly are so humble and they always talk about how they don't deserve such love (which is bs if you ask me). they only kept running into obstacles and endured so many hardships and they only had us by their side through it all. they unfortunately have an insane amount of haters and we have to protect and defend them every single day (either by reporting the accounts or sending emails to jype to take legal action against malicious comments) and they see all of that, they see everything. they're so invested in the fandom and they keep up with all of our inside jokes and memes, they know about everything. they truly care so much. they're so thankful for everything and they always try to repay and thank us by constantly releasing content and showering us with love in every single way possible and we in return shower them with even more love. it's a never-ending cycle. they literally stan us back and the love that we give them is reciprocated.. it might sound weird to others but once you truly get into the fandom, you'll never feel more loved by random 8 strangers that will somehow end up feeling like your best friends.
Stray Kids shares A LOT of content with us so we feel like we have gotten to know them over the years. My favorite content is when they are just being themselves in behind the scenes type videos like SKZ Talker or The 9th.
This episode had me cry, all the comments just hit you in the face and the relationship they have with stays is just so special, that's why I love them so much!

Being a stay is actually really special I’ve been into kpop way before they debuted and I stanned them immediately ( never happened to me before) and they became my ult in less than a year
I don’t know how to explain it with word they have this special thing about them they really just be hitting different
So I'm part of a few fandoms now. And I'm still a baby Stay but I can already say I've never felt so loved and truly appreciated by people I've never met before. It honestly just feels different with Stray Kids. All groups adore their fans ofc! But being a Stay just feels different. You can just feel how much they mean their words to us.
It's funny how he always say "MY-ROW"... the correct pronunciation is "ME-ROH" (written in hangeul as 미로/Mih-roh). The word 미로 translates to Maze, pertaining to how they're entering an unknown world that they have to navigate through and unravel. I hope you learned something useful 🙂
Hahah the one that you kept saying you can’t recognise is hyunjin! His hair has gone through quite the evolution! And the quotes on the black screen were submitted by fans to skzvintage who sent out a link asking us if there were things we wanna say to skz :) because we know esp Chan does watch these videos (whether it’s fanmade compilations or even reactions like yours and memes on twitter etc)! So hopefully in tough times like the past month they’d hear us and see our support via videos like these :)

My wife and I tried not to cry. She mentioned how much better communication can be between a band like Skz and we fans because of technology (vlives for instance.) Growing up we only had magazines for our idols - nice, but not the same connection.)
This hit so hard in the feels especially since today is their 3 year anniversary! The bond between Stray Kids and Stay really is something special... I've been in a lot of different fandoms but this one just feels differently, like where I'm meant to be. There's no better bond than Stays and Stray Kids

Love your reactions! Actually I've been in a lot of fandoms but never feel as connected as I am with SKZ. They are truly genuine, themselves, and it's quite rare when you know kpop industry because idols are not really themselves 100% most of the time but them, they are and it's not just me thinking, it's them saying it. i think the reason it feels different is because we have been through so much as both fan and artist and have somehow managed to survive yet again. of course all artists have it hard but for a time it felt like stray kids had this never ending dark cloud above them and during times like that we really only had each other so when we say we’re all each others got, we mean it. 2019 was a very challenging year as you can imagine and instead of giving up they worked even harder and so we as fans worked harder. i think we inspire each other in the best way and for that i am grateful to have found them and see how much they treasure their fans. thank you for watching these and i really hope you’ve enjoyed them ✨✨
All those times you got confused between hyunjin and seungmin that was just hyunjin with short hair. Also you nailed the meaning of their name really close-stray kids everywhere all around the world can also mean them and their music everywhere, but as they themselves said, it means this is for everyone who's adrift, alone, or just a stray. I have been a kpop fan for 4 years and I had the same group as my ult, literally no group could 'overthrow' them, but when I found skz last year, they quickly gained a place in my heart. I will always love the other groups I stan and my first ult, but skz really make me feel like I'm at 'home'. Their songs are so incredibly personal, even more after knowing that they do it all by themselves, and they always feel like a comforting presence since they keep reminding us via social media to take care of ourselves, they share inside jokes, they make constant vlives where they just talk about random things or even talk about their own struggles (like for example han's last vlive where he opened up more about his social anxiety), as well as they try to make sure everyone feels welcomed (fun fact but if you're on stay twitter, stays are mostly poc and/or ppl from the lgbtq+ community lol). We've been through a lot along with them, since for some reason the kids tend to be targeted constantly either by antis on twitter or by.. actual big media *cough* mnet *cough* so i think that made us even more united, since they constantly check and try to comfort us during times like these
There’s a “stray kids moment every new stay should know” parts one and two that’s good and it breaks it up by member or makes sure to tell you which was really helpful when I was still having a hard time telling some of them!

Also to answer ur question at the end of the video, I feel it is a special connection between Skz and Stay. Being as genuine as I can they make me very happy. When they release new music it always seems to always fit my mood or "hit different". I would say that Stay is more of a Family with Skz rather than a fandom, we feel each others pain and happiness. I have tried to "get into" or "join" other fandoms, but they don't feel the same, Skz is my home away from home and I will always be a STAY
