Padre Pio was a Catholic priest who resided in a monastery of the Capuchin order, which is now known as the Shrine of Padre Pio, in Italy. Padre Pio spent most of his time in prayer. If people needed help, he suggested that they sent their guardian angels to him so that he could speak with them, and he also sent his own guardian angel out to help and heal those in need. He died in 1968 and is venerated as a saint in the Catholic church and his celebration is on 23rd September.
