Great plugin, everything seems smooth, Is there a posibility to relate the providers with Wordpress users? This open the possibility to give that specific provider a private view whit their appointments.

Hi Kate! I'm working on a booking form of a tool rental service for a customer. This plugins might be a solution but I have concerns. The scenario is the following: The customers can select which date they want to start the renting and they can select from 3 rental period options: 1st: Same day (customer takes and brings the tool the same day); 2nd: 24 hour rent (user has 24 hours to use it and take back) ; 3rd: Whole weekend (customer takes it Friday afternoon and brings it back only next week Monday morning). The expectation is that the plugins should block out booked time periods for the rented/unavailable tool. So when the user booked a service/tool with the 'same day' option so that day should be unavailable from there on, if the user books for '24 hours' the form's booking date input should mark this period (from previous day to next day) as unavailable. Thus avoiding multiple bookings for one tool/service for the same time.
Hello! I checked your question, and I believe JetAppointment is not really what you need. It allows to create time-slots ti be available for booking during the day. Also, I didn't catch the difference between the Same day and 24 hours options :( Both of them imply renting equipment for one day. Hello Lindsay! If I understood your question correctly, no, it can't be achieved. JetAppointment allows to choose one CPT as a Provider and one CPT as a Service. You can display your vendors as providers.

Can you choose more than a service at once for appointment? For example, for a home blood test service, the client can choose more than one test per visit.

Providers are optional. If you don't want, you don't need to select them. But if you selected the Providers CPT, there's no way to hide them on the frontend.

So the online teachers can set their own available schedules and the students can see and book their preferred schedules with their preferred teachers. Is there any way to let the customer choose the time slots? An example is for booking a meeting room or a tennis court. The interval is 1 hour but the customer can choose 10am until 2pm which uses 4 slots. The service would be - Facility Booking and the Providers would actually be the Facility names rather than a Provider as such. EG: Facility booking (multiples of 1 hr) for Tennis Court Number 1. This would be a very welcome option because there are very few wordpress plugins with a focus on booking facilities according to the customers time needs.

Tell me how to make related categories with services and craftsmen. as I see it, you can only use the master and the service ( if, for example, you need 150 services and 12 categories for a beauty salon there and so that all 150 services are not shown immediately in the drop-down list ( this is not convenient ) and so that you can make a filter by category and by selecting a category you can select a service related to the category ?

This looks great and I may need it soon. I have one concern. I noticed when you were demonstrating selecting a date to book a service on the front end, you selected the service, then selected the provider, but when you clicked on a date it said nothing was available. So you had to click on a different date. Which made me realize that there must not be any styling or filtering options to indicate if a date is not available for a certain service and provider combination. So a user might end up clicking on several dates before finding one that has an available time slot. I can see this being very annoying for a customer. What can be done about this? Ideally, a all dates with no available time slots for a particular service and provider combination should not be selectable. At the very least, there should be some visual indication so they don't waste their time clicking on it. Is there some way to make it work like that? Thanks!
Hello! Actually, after Kate selected the service and provider, she went to demonstrate those holidays she set before (Christmas Day, Womens' Day), - how they look on the front-end (prntscr.com/qybn77) . After that, she showed that you can select any available date and choose the time-slots offered. So, all dates with available time slots for booking can be selected without problems ;) Hoping, I managed to explain :)
@@Crocoblock I am sorry - you did not answer the question at all.. Towards the end of the video she tries to book another appointment and clicks on a day, but no appointment is available. You should not be able to select a day with no appointments available. It should at least be visible before! Now you have to click through - potentially - lots of days without finding an appointment. That's not a great experience for the user ;(
@@mmm-xc8zk If you mean the day with no slots available on 28:14, this day can't be removed because its on the Calendar. And the Day becomes a strikethrough only when there are no slots available. Great video. But if you ask me, I would be looking for a solution where hypothetically a client could do the appointment booking via the restaurant webpage choosing which and how many dishes, plus the time. Hello, Aleksey! JetAppointment and JetBooking are different plugins. While JetBooking allows reserving items for a certain period (several days, for example), JetAppointment gives an opportunity to book a service for certain interval of time. You, as a site administrator, set the time slots you'd like to offer to your clients, and they can book them :)
Would be nice if you can buy a package and use that package for appointment slots. Example: Package with 20 appointments for a driving school costs 1500euro when it's normally 75 euro for a single lesson. If you buy the package you will have appointments that you can plan on a free slot, but in place of having to buy each appointment, it reduces the number from the package you bought. This is usefull for driving schools, beaty saloons and other companies that offer package discounts.

Hello! There's no option for users to cancel or edit their appointments. Only site administrator can do that. You can make an email to notify your clients that their appointment was created. If they need to change info or cancel it, they should contact site administrator. You can add some contact form or phone number so your site users could contact you.

I tried adding days off in the appointment settings and it doesn't save them. The dates are still available to be booked on the front-end. Also is there a way to block appointments from being scheduled on a certain date between 9:00AM and 1:00 PM?

This plugin allows you to configure a confirmation page at the end of the schedule to be able to measure in analytics? Also that the 2 receive a confirmation email once with the ics so that it remains on the calendar with the zoom link once?

Secondly I feel like the tutorial skimmed over the single service form (which is what I just want). What happen if a client choose: Wedding service ->Tasha->February 14th -> 9:00 to 14:00 (its a 5 hours service) ...and some other client wants to pick: First Date Special ->Tasha->February 14th -> 13:00 to 14:00 (its a one hour service) I assume the second client will not be able to pick that time and he will be forced to pick another available time (something after 14:00) unless he choose a different provider (ej: Sancho). First Date Special ->Sancho->February 14th -> 13:00 to 14:00. This sould work all right. Is that right?. Is there any way i can get a 30 days trial plugin to test your plugin before purchase?

I've just started to test this plugin. Here are my thoughts: - There is no way to input a Providers Availability. The plugin assumes all providers are available from start of use. For Example: If One Chef can only do Wedding Service on the Weekends. I feel there should be a way to input a Providers Availability. - There is no way to add additional costs. Using your Use-case as an Example. Say we choose Birthday Party as the Service, however what if we want to make one Provider a different cost. For Example you are booking a Birthday Party and you can choose Standard Chef or Professional Chef, the Professional Chef should cost more. - How do you pass the form fields to the woocommerce checkout form? I saw in your example 'phone number' was not passed through, but 'email' was. I cannot see any documentation on this. The plugin works well and does all you claim, but I feel real-use scenarios are going to test the limitations of what the plugin is able to currently do. Hi Kate! I'm working on a booking form of a tool rental service for a customer. This plugins might be a solution but I have concerns.
The scenario is the following:
The customers can select which date they want to start the renting and they can select from 3 rental period options:
1st: Same day (customer takes and brings the tool the same day);
2nd: 24 hour rent (user has 24 hours to use it and take back) ;
3rd: Whole weekend (customer takes it Friday afternoon and brings it back only next week Monday morning).
The expectation is that the plugins should block out booked time periods for the rented/unavailable tool.
So when the user booked a service/tool with the 'same day' option so that day should be unavailable from there on, if the user books for '24 hours' the form's booking date input should mark this period (from previous day to next day) as unavailable. Thus avoiding multiple bookings for one tool/service for the same time.

It allows to create time-slots ti be available for booking during the day. Also, I didn't catch the difference between the Same day and 24 hours options :( Both of them imply renting equipment for one day. Could you please tell in more details how you need that functionality to work? :)

Hello Lindsay! If I understood your question correctly, no, it can't be achieved. JetAppointment allows to choose one CPT as a Provider and one CPT as a Service. You can display your vendors as providers.

Providers are optional. If you don't want, you don't need to select them. But if you selected the Providers CPT, there's no way to hide them on the frontend.

Is there any way to let the customer choose the time slots? An example is for booking a meeting room or a tennis court. The interval is 1 hour but the customer can choose 10am until 2pm which uses 4 slots. The service would be - Facility Booking and the Providers would actually be the Facility names rather than a Provider as such. EG: Facility booking (multiples of 1 hr) for Tennis Court Number 1.
This would be a very welcome option because there are very few wordpress plugins with a focus on booking facilities according to the customers time needs.

This looks great and I may need it soon. I have one concern. I noticed when you were demonstrating selecting a date to book a service on the front end, you selected the service, then selected the provider, but when you clicked on a date it said nothing was available. So you had to click on a different date. Which made me realize that there must not be any styling or filtering options to indicate if a date is not available for a certain service and provider combination. So a user might end up clicking on several dates before finding one that has an available time slot. I can see this being very annoying for a customer. What can be done about this? Ideally, a all dates with no available time slots for a particular service and provider combination should not be selectable. At the very least, there should be some visual indication so they don't waste their time clicking on it. Is there some way to make it work like that? Thanks!

Actually, after Kate selected the service and provider, she went to demonstrate those holidays she set before (Christmas Day, Womens' Day), - how they look on the front-end (prntscr.com/qybn77) . After that, she showed that you can select any available date and choose the time-slots offered. So, all dates with available time slots for booking can be selected without problems ;) Hoping, I managed to explain :)
@@Crocoblock I am sorry - you did not answer the question at all.. Towards the end of the video she tries to book another appointment and clicks on a day, but no appointment is available. You should not be able to select a day with no appointments available. It should at least be visible before! Now you have to click through - potentially - lots of days without finding an appointment. That's not a great experience for the user ;(
@@mmm-xc8zk If you mean the day with no slots available on 28:14, this day can't be removed because its on the Calendar. And the Day becomes a strikethrough only when there are no slots available. Hello, Aleksey! JetAppointment and JetBooking are different plugins. While JetBooking allows reserving items for a certain period (several days, for example), JetAppointment gives an opportunity to book a service for certain interval of time. You, as a site administrator, set the time slots you'd like to offer to your clients, and they can book them :)

Would be nice if you can buy a package and use that package for appointment slots.
Example:
Package with 20 appointments for a driving school costs 1500euro when it's normally 75 euro for a single lesson. If you buy the package you will have appointments that you can plan on a free slot, but in place of having to buy each appointment, it reduces the number from the package you bought.
This is usefull for driving schools, beaty saloons and other companies that offer package discounts.

Can I add easily a email notification so people can edit or cancel the appointment? Also I would like to add in the notification email a Add to google calendar button. Is this possible?
Hello! There's no option for users to cancel or edit their appointments. Only site administrator can do that. You can make an email to notify your clients that their appointment was created. If they need to change info or cancel it, they should contact site administrator. You can add some contact form or phone number so your site users could contact you.

With the Recurring Appointments feature, users can book appointments simultaneously during some recurring period. For instance, a patient can book the therapeutic procedure every day at 10 a.m. - bit.ly/3IETWGL
@@Crocoblock thank you for the super-quick answer but I meant something else. if I do lectures and I what that the customer can choose only specific dates in the calendar. for example, i have 3 dates in 1 week and 2 different dates a week after and I want that he can choose only from These dates only. thank you!
@@guylerman8985 Sorry for the misunderstanding! Could you please specify, do you want only specific dates to be visible and others to be unavailable? For example, the service is available only on 10 June, 12 June, and 20 June.

I tried adding days off in the appointment settings and it doesn't save them. The dates are still available to be booked on the front-end. Also is there a way to block appointments from being scheduled on a certain date between 9:00AM and 1:00 PM?

This plugin allows you to configure a confirmation page at the end of the schedule to be able to measure in analytics?
Also that the 2 receive a confirmation email once with the ics so that it remains on the calendar with the zoom link once?
I apologize for the delayed response! As for confirmation page, you can use the Notification type called "Redirect page" so upon the form submission user would be transferred to any page you need prntscr.com/tvm5mo.

@@Crocoblock sure, Iike how to troubleshoot issues. Because when I follow it word for word I get an error and there is no place I can look that up. Secondly I feel like the tutorial skimmed over the single service form (which is what I just want). Third of all the tut just ends randomly while feeling like I was left high and dry when it comes to making it fully work through the WooCommerce plugin.

What happen if a client choose:
Wedding service ->Tasha->February 14th -> 9:00 to 14:00 (its a 5 hours service)
...and some other client wants to pick:
First Date Special ->Tasha->February 14th -> 13:00 to 14:00 (its a one hour service)
I assume the second client will not be able to pick that time and he will be forced to pick another available time (something after 14:00) unless he choose a different provider (ej: Sancho).

Hello Rodolfo! No, if Tasha has a 5 hours slot service, it will be offered as 9-14, and the next one would be 14-19, etc. So, another client will be able to book only the next slot.

I've just started to test this plugin.
Here are my thoughts:
- There is no way to input a Providers Availability. The plugin assumes all providers are available from start of use. For Example: If One Chef can only do Wedding Service on the Weekends. I feel there should be a way to input a Providers Availability.
- There is no way to add additional costs. Using your Use-case as an Example. Say we choose Birthday Party as the Service, however what if we want to make one Provider a different cost. For Example you are booking a Birthday Party and you can choose Standard Chef or Professional Chef, the Professional Chef should cost more.
- How do you pass the form fields to the woocommerce checkout form? I saw in your example 'phone number' was not passed through, but 'email' was. I cannot see any documentation on this.
The plugin works well and does all you claim, but I feel real-use scenarios are going to test the limitations of what the plugin is able to currently do.
Hope this is received as positive and encouraging feedback to help improve the plugin. I use Crocoblock plugins and am impressed with the work you do.
