      Hi Adam Reade✨✨
Thank you for always writing such wonderful comments!😃
The music I listened to the most in the 70s was "DAWN". I'm so glad I was able to encounter such good music as a child.😋

This is gorgeous. Thank you so much for sharing your work! It's so rare to see the lesser known tracks of Dawn get so much love.

Nice to meet you, George Reid✨✨
Thank you so much for your lovely comment! And as a fellow movie fan, I'm really glad that you're a fan of this movie.
The music in this film is also amazing, so I hope that people who haven't seen it yet will also know how great it is.😃

This is amazing, I've never heard the full version of Cantano.

      Hi s hall😃
Thank you for your nice comment!✨✨
I was also able to listen to the full version of Cantano recently 😋 (It was the 3-disc album "Dawn" released in 2020.)
The actual original full version is the size of my cover of Cantano repeated twice. (The same performance twice)
By the way, I still often remember the shock video of the car you uploaded. (I showed it to my mother, and she was surprised and yelled out loud😂)

Some may see Dawn of the Dead as a silly but fun zombie movie, which it is too, and that's fine!
But for me, it's always been about the living doing their best to find true happiness in the darkest times, something that many people (in this age of hyper-consumption that turns the living into the spiritually undead) struggle to achieve.
I too have always seen Dawn of the Dead from Fren's perspective, who to me always seemed to struggle with depression and anxiety.
I'm glad Romero left the ending the way it is now instead of having Peter and Francine commit suicide, given the unbearable sadness and hopelessness of their situation after the storming of the mall.
In my opinion, the entire movie, including the entire cast, is about the futile and very often pointless search for happiness in many shapes and forms.
From the civilians who want to keep their loved ones at all costs even though they have already become ghouls; the editorial team that silenced the scientific expert so that they could continue to live their illusion of a perfect world; to the security guards who steal a boat to reach an unknown island; the civilian hunters who team up with the army for one last celebration of death, carnage and BBQ; of course our group of four who are just trying to live the American dream, or rather what is left there to dream of it; to even the neo-Nazi biker gang who want to satisfy their hedonistic urges, and finally the zombies themselves who symbolize the hyper-consumption of our modern capitalist dystopia. They all want to reach and conquer the shopping mall for themselves, the mall, which is symbol of the illusion of supposed happiness through materialism.

      Hi Lutho✨✨
Thank you for your always polite and kind comments!😃
Yes, that's true! George himself said, "Dawn of the Dead is a movie for people who like festivals."
But as you mention, focusing too much on the zombies in this film can make it hard to get the essence of it.
zombies may be a kind of metaphor.
Also, George also mentioned that it was an antithesis to consumer society.
I think it's a masterpiece that expresses this very well.
As for the last scene, I thought it was an ending to protect Stephen's child.
In the movie "Day", John says to Sarah, "There's a lot of work to do from now on. Have lots of children and raise them so that the world doesn't become like this."
I think that's probably what was going through George's mind.
By the way, you have looked into this movie deeply and got the gist of it!
As a fellow movie fan, I'm very happy.
It's also interesting that the worst combination of people we saw in "Dawn" is "Day."
"Day" also starts with a scene where Sarah, a woman, wakes up from a nightmare.
The only thing that was a bit confusing to me was that my theory didn't apply to "Night." "LoL"

A great insight about Fran. Think you are right, she was the lead. Also i do wonder if Peter would have died if not for the black fella being the first in the room. He looks taken aback for a second then thinks sod it, i'll try.

Yes. Even as a man, I think all the men she meets are wonderful.
The last scene, the expression on the black zombie's face is famous even in Japan,
and while it looks like he's saying "Why!?", it's an interesting scene because it's funny but also seems to have some meaning.
There was also a part that I imagined and found very moving.
I wonder if he thought about the fact that Fran was carrying Steven's child...
When I think about it, I almost burst into tears.
