How to make a jeweler's bench pin. It's easy.

- This is for a friend of mine who making spoon rings. I thought a bench pin could help him out, and maybe it will help someone else.
I know I call it a "Bench block" in the video, over & over & over, but it is technically called a "jewelers bench pin." If you have a problem with me calling it the wrong name, then you can bugger off. No one needs you.
Why spend money on one, when you can DIY using a piece of scrap wood & a saw? You can easily modify to do many things. Customize it to your working needs. Start making stuff.

Haha just be careful you don't get your name stuck on something extremely inappropriate. I did that once. They only allowed so many name changes within a 6 month period. I found out the hard way 😬

😆 oh, you mean my recycled plastic mallet/paper towel roll? Yeah, I make those out of old laundry detergent & milk jugs. Anything with a 2 inside the ♻️ - HDPE. They are so handy. I'll have to show you my plastic woodworkers mallet.
