I had the exact same situation. Broke my bulkheads getting them out of my truck. Totally forgot about them. Since this was a former reef tank and still has a ton of crud, I think I'm gonna replace the whole overflow
So how are you liking the overflow, did you leave it stock or modify it? also the manual says that hole in top of the drain elbow is an anti-siphon hole. But apparently the three holes beneath it were not part of the assembly at the time they printed the manual. Do you know if that's part of the same anti-siphon or if that's their to quiet things?
Towards the end you mention how it's dry fitted . I always leave my in take parts dry fit. That way I can replace parts. It's not like leaking matters in the tank because it's wet anyways. Good video though.
This comes with new Aqueon reef ready tanks. I called customer service and they said the kit is included with the tank. If you didn't get one with your tank they person selling the aquarium took it out to sell seperately.
Yes these are available separately if you want to cut holes in your tank. I think you'll find a better part of that $80 is in the fact that the durso drain is adjustable in height which has come in handy. Those are also really decent bulkheads.

I am wondering where the holes are in the tank? Are they drilled far enough away from the edge to fit a stand made with 2x4's?
In my case, I ended up using a coping sawto cut crescents to fit my plumbing.
