- I wanted to shave my head at the beginning of the pandemic when life as we knew it abruptly ground to a halt. I couldn't buy a pair of clippers under $40 and everyone persuaded me against it. Saying things like "It's just a phase." "You'll regret it!" etc, etc.
I let them persuade me. I also worried that I wouldn't get hired again if my head was buzzed. Three years later, I haven't changed my mind. I've been shedding my belongings, left organizations that do not align with my values, and finally giving more weight to my intuition.
My eyes were mostly closed because there was so much hair everywhere but I think you can tell from the video that I'm pretty happy with the result. I never knew how satisfying to cut off chunks of your hair like in the movies.
I have zero regrets and would go down to a guard two next time. It's already growing so fast. If you want no maintenance hair. Shave your head. It's amazing.

Great decision. You really suit having very short hair. You should go down to a #1 or #0 buzzcut as you will definitely rock the look. Best wishes to you.

I've had a pixie in the past! Growing it out was so awkward. It's only been a week and I feel like it's growing too fast. I haven't decided if I what to do yet 🤔

I put it off for years cuz my mom said don't it's just a phase and when I still could not stop thinking about it, I did it. It grows back faster than you think but people do make assumptions about you. The choice is yours!
@@wildcardkang yeah that’s what’s happening with me about endlessly thinking about it I helped my friend shave her head years ago because she was drunk one night and cut her hair badly and it looked amazing on her so I think it would maybe look good on me too idk
If you do it, spring is the perfect time. Weather is more forgiving and if you decide to grow it out again, you can mostly overcome the awkward phase with hats or beanies during fall and winter!
