I would like the new scheme on sister rr Texas Pacifico, but not on FEC. The champion scheme is superior in every way! I feel the same way about the ATSF Warbonnet as opposed to the BNSF orange and black.
I like the ATSF Warbonnet liveries, but if you ditch the BNSF standard livery, you lose the influence of the predecessors of the Burlington Northern Railroad.
I was wondering how long it would be before the owners of the FEC Mexicanized the paint scheme. They copied their Ferromex scheme and simply changed the colors.
I don't care for it. Reminds me of the camouflage schemes that were used on battleships during WW II. And what is with the turquoise stripes on the nose. Did they have a can of paint that they were trying to use up. PS saw the train at the Michigan st crossing yesterday.
The new paint is kinda neat but nothing can replace the red and yellow champion scheme. Hopefully they don’t replace them very fast.
fr the champion is better
I like the old paint scheme because it looks different from other railroads.
I didn't care for the new paint scheme at first, but it grows on you. I still prefer the older colors, but I'm not in charge.
wow that new livery is very eye-catching
A nice take on the Ferromex scheme. The Vets scheme on the GP40-2 is very nice as well.
I know FEC and Ferromex are both owned by the same company, although Ferromex is only partially owned by that company.
Love the new paint scheme. Liked the old one too. Glad they did a veterans unit too.
Awesome catch! Love the shot of the train over the bridge
OMG IM SEEING IT RN IN WEST PALM BEACH!! Truly amazing paint scheme. Can't wait to see the veterans paint scheme on the gp
Not bad at all, but I do prefer the red
Awesome footage man!! I caught it at MP 112 South Daytona as well!!
looks like a doper painted it !
It's alright.... it's just that the red and yellow has more character.
Racks, stacks, and piggybacks!
Interesting to see so many Amazon containers.
The champion paint scheme has class to it. This new paint scheme doesn't.
I saw them yesterday in Rockledge pulling a rock train
Not a fan of it considering they already had a superior paint scheme, but I guess it is what it is. Thank you, as always for documenting this!
Neat looking paint scheme.

Where is the fuel tender?
They haven't repainted any of those yet so they likely wanted to make the debut with a uniform look of just the two locomotives.

not really a fan of it when compared to the art deco of the Champion, it feels so much less striking in comparison

Ah, that explains it. I wasn't aware of the ownership of FEC, but when i saw this, i suspected something like that was up.
I think Crane Creek bridge is most scenic spot on the FEC line.
I saw two blue locos, nothing outstanding
Works for me. Kind of brightlineish
Are you going to still do more of the deland SunRail stuff
Eventually, haven't had time recently to make it over
Do. Not. Like. Original paint scheme still the best.
oh wow two gaming computer mouses flying down the main
i miss the old one already
It’s giving Ferromex lol. But I do like it.
Thanks Grupo for killing heritage.

Nope! Not liking it. I like the red and yellow the best.
Uh, wow. That is... something else. Not... not very attractive, though.
Wasted.
I don’t like it. It looks like graffiti. Not Good. I imagine difficult to see at night.
