Just love watching this. Myself and 4other biker friends stayed in Killarney for a few days at the end of May during this great weather and rode many of the same roads, brings it all back. Thanks for the fantastic video and really loved the drone sequence in the previous episode of the Healey Pass.

You should enjoy that also, WAW in Donegal is also spectacular and if you have time take the ferry from Greencastle, Co Donegal to Magilligan and then the North coast and Antrim Coast Road (A2 from Ballycastle then Torr Road at Ballyvoy, then Antrim Coast Road from Cushendun to Larne. 👍

I can’t complain about the trucks really. Part of my job involves driving one 🤣 Ah I didn’t realise you had been over there. Such an amazing place, it should be on every bikers list. It's been 16 years since I went touring in this part of Ireland with my then partner, both of us mounted on Harleys, she on an 883 Custom, me on a 1450 Dyna. Loved the trip, but it wasn't without its hurdles, most notably a puncture right in The Black Mountains. Also, ten since we visited with friends and Doggies to the Dingle Peninsula. Again, lots of happy memories, but it was a helluva long way back.
Sounds great apart from the puncture. We broke the ride home up by staying in Tipperary overnight. We rode there from Clifden (It was a long way) the day before our ferry. Then we rode from Tipperary to Rosslare, and Fishguard to home overnight 🥴

Thanks for this one SB, I last rode the waw 5 or so years ago on my old Tiger, but I was fortunate enough to work the Ring of Kerry with my coach quite often. (Not the same as on two wheels, but what a set of roads and views) .
We passed many coaches going in the opposite direction. I think my friend Janner Fox drove coaches there too. They run anti-clockwise he said. Not a bad office is it 🙂 Thank you sir 🤣
Yes, it's an unwritten rule among drivers, and it's woe betide anyone who takes a coach clockwise! I really enjoyed my work across there, including my lunch stops at Adare, where the couple at Sprocket & Hubs were happy to let me take a Himalayan out.....and so the seed was set! 👍
Yet another cracker Sir, thank you very much for Your excellent work! - just a thought, what about a fixed side view cam sometimes, when you twiddle Your head I keep wanting to look forward at the road for you? Last went Dingle Easter 1972, in a Beetle for £199, two people ferry Pembroke/Cobh + 7 nights d,b&b, Ryan Hotels and Galway one had a FREE extra, a panoramic window with a bullet sized hole init! We slept badly that night!
I’m hoping my cheapskate 360 cam will help that on future trips 🙂 Just so you know, I am still watching the road while the camera is pointing at the scenery. I know exactly what you mean though. Id guess some of those views wouldnt be quite so appealing in the face of a strong westerly and horizontal rain 😂. Its lovely that you're meeting and riding with your channel subs over there! Thank you mate. There’s no doubt that the weather played a huge part in us having a good time. It could have been pretty miserable. Yes really good to meet some of the guys over there. Janner, a bit like yourself, has become a friend through the channel. But one of the guys from Royal Enfielder’s Ireland that met us, didn’t even know who I was and had never seen my vids (deeply offended of course) but still gave up a day to give us a tour. 150-170 miles a day I guess. We never wanted it to be a slog. Still missed out on an awful lot along the way to get to our final destination. Cheers Ken 👍🏼

We enjoyed it immensely. I need to go again me thinks. I don’t really have any gripes with trucks. Part of my job is driving a 26ton Merc with a crane on the back, so I’m often the one slowing everyone down. Awesome, my friend. It must be really challenging to decide what scenes to include. Currently, I am up county Sligo for a few days and yesterday's ride out was only 150 km, which took me 4 hours because I just had to stop at so many breathtaking views. I burned through 2 gopro batteries. I think I have enough footage of 3 days to make content for the next 3 months😂. And now you convinced me to plan going southwest and south... stunning footage as usual, but I would encourage everyone to get out and see it live. Ireland will steal your heart! 😊
It certainly stole our hearts and I recommend it to everyone. I look forward to your footage from the west. It’s almost impossible to know what to film. Every time I went to shut the camera off I was greeted by another gorgeous view, or a wonderful series of bends 🤣 Mark and I want to pick up where we left off and head up through Sligo to Donegal. @@Saddlebags73 don't have too. Just playing and working on what I am able to do. Payed for the gopros and computer and software. Just trying to see what I can learn. Just playing around with this video thing. Still have a lot to learn. Would like to make a movie , have three movies that I would love to make in comedy with the health field. But I have 80s and 90s humor, not sure that works today.

Awesome, my friend. It must be really challenging to decide what scenes to include. Currently, I am up county Sligo for a few days and yesterday's ride out was only 150 km, which took me 4 hours because I just had to stop at so many breathtaking views. I burned through 2 gopro batteries. I think I have enough footage of 3 days to make content for the next 3 months😂. And now you convinced me to plan going southwest and south... stunning footage as usual, but I would encourage everyone to get out and see it live. Ireland will steal your heart! 😊

I look forward to your footage from the west. It’s almost impossible to know what to film. Every time I went to shut the camera off I was greeted by another gorgeous view, or a wonderful series of bends 🤣

@Saddlebags73 oh gods, I panic when I think of editing this footage. I know that 15 minutes should be the mark, but I'm sure there is this 27 minute take where any cut would be an insult to the experience 🤔. I guess it will be a 27 minute episode then. 😁
Donegal is amazing my friend. I think you could spend an entire month on doing the Irish coast line and you still be missing out
@@frankysworld I’ve had to be brutal with the cutting. Half an hour vids are fine, but very few people will watch them. Modern life and short attention spans 🤷🏻♂️ I admit I struggle with long videos simply because I rarely have that much spare time. But for those that do, it’s great 👍🏼

The Witch was brilliant. The only time I could have done with a few more horses was riding home overnight. But throughout the trip it was comfy, capable and never missed a beat.
