I think that the GH writers destroyed this love story. It breaks my heart that when Vanessa comes back to play Brenda fans who loved her now are annoyed with her. From 93-99 Sonny was with 3 women. From 2000-2019 he was with 10 women. Pathetic. Definitely lost the attraction. and Destroyed Sonny’s character as well. It’s the writers that have ruined these two beautiful characters who love each other deeply. They NEVER had a chance and I really think that if Vanessa stayed on the show permanently we would have been able to see them create their family. I’ve watched Carly/Sonny videos whom I never knew very well because I stopped watching in 99. There is a difference between hot/classy and hot/trashy and I feel that is how Carly/Sonny. started. It’s a shame that GH began to fail miserably. Sonny and Brenda grew as a couple and were so young. They went through the challenges so many people go through. I will forever be an SnB FAN.The show did a 180 and even after 20 years i have no desire. So sad!!

I miss the Faces of the Heart era of the 90s. 1993- 2005 was the best it just got awful after that.
