You gotta feel bad for Gloomtail. First he gets trapped in the palace of shadows for centuries, then he finds out that his little sister has been destroyed, and now to add insult to injury his first fresh meal in a 1000 years turns out to be the same people that defeated Hooktail and slain him too. Welp at least he’ll get to see his sister soon.
@@katherinetyler5543 Not Gloomtail… but you can still fight Bonetail before Hooktail. How you ever heard of the “Pre-Hooktail 100 Pit” challenge? It’s a challenge invented duo to a glitch in the GameCube version that allows players to pass the bars blocking the path to the pit of 100 trials early in the game, starting at low level with only Goombella. Now, the remake doesn’t have that glitch, but you can still beat Bone before Hook. Just get the paper mode ability to bypass the bars and head to the pit, with Goombella and Koops in your party.
Still like the fact that Only Goombella and Koops legitimately encountered Hooktail while the rest just heard of it.
