Got this around 10 days ago to use with my iPad Pro 10.5 to be able to connect external usb drives. With the changes announced for iPadOS, don’t think I’ll be using it that much now. It’s a great little device, nonetheless.
2/17/20 Just bought one. 5G not doing well in bridge mode. Maybe firmware need to be updated but other than that impressed by it. I had a hootoo Titian and it hot when in use, but this gets hot when in use while charging but after done charging its warm but not hot as hootoo Titian. 4/5 for me. Buy it from website for 40$ idk if the sale is still on, but got mine on Amazon for 50 ish
See I like the idea of these kind of products I just feel that they are too late in the game and cloud solutions are cheap enough to be a better alternative, the built in ap is a nice touch but for me running a 4g hotspot off your phone is an easier option as well

Depends on what you wanna use it for. Just backup routines or a media server with real time transcoding, if you just want a simple media server or backup nas, you could use a raspberry pi. If you want real time transcoding for all your devices I suggest using free nas and lowpowered or under volted quad core with a gigabyte of ram per terrabyte of storage for cache. If you wanna edit video of it I suggest going full SSD raid array with a more powerful CPU.
If they thought it was important - they'd advertise it on the amazon page front and center. But they don't! This product is laughable. The wireless transfer speeds are SLOOWWW.

i got the RP-W002 6000mAh sense a couple years and it does the same things and its great, even soporte my 1tb external hard drive
