Galvanization of the people into believing that their hard earned work And the profits of it are theirs to own and none else. The idea that anyone else would stumble across this was an athema to Ryan. An impossibility that he could never accept. It was then that he fell into the trap of becoming a very thing that he hated to beat The thing that he hated.
Andrew Ryan and Mr House from New Vegas are wonderful characters who strongly convey their message while still being eloquent and civilized despite the results. The religious guy in New Vegas has a great voice but honestly he doesn't get his ideals through as strongly as these guys. They are the guys that make capitalist industrialists sound like good guys, or at least with a good understanding. My one big disappointment with Bioshock, and I'd have loved them to have done a 'Minerva's Den' style download to satisfy my craving, was that we are unable to 'wander' around Bioshock 'open world' style. Persephone, who wouldn't want to poke around 'down there' to see for ourselves the true horrors. To actually see Suchon and Tennenbaum perfecting their Big Daddy imprinting, and even see the kinds of poor sods they put into those suits. Each of those doors, those that announced that you were in front of them and yet failed to open, what lies behind them? Or even play minor characters in Atlas' revolution. OR even see the very start of Rapture with the building of it. Be one of those 'high flyers' on the roof, suckered into taking a one way journey down to Rapture. OR how about playing a character who escapes Rapture and manages to convince those on the roof that Rapture really, really exists and that people need rescuing. And we all know what happens if splicers make it up onto the roof eh! Another Bioshock game is being made, I hope they don't make a horlicks of it. What a fantastic game Bioshock was, the very first computer video game I ever played. It sort of spoiled everything that came after. You never forget your first Bioshock!

Also, did you include his voice clips from trailers?
In chronological order: Founding Rapture(+ Ryan's Philosophy) ~ Inviting Porter & Lamb ~ Founding Ryan's Amusement(+ Ryan the Lion) ~ vs Lamb & Fontaine ~ Burial at Sea ~ vs Atlas(Rapture Civil War) ~ Killing Jasmine Jolene ~ Jack's Arrival(BioShock) ~ Ryan's Demise.
I didn't put his voice clips in trailer because I thought it was unnecessary.
@@JohnnyJohnnyJohn I'm not sure the multiplayer quotes are canon, but the trailer ones certainly are. I like to think both are canon because i liked the multiplayer.
38:12, not too many people know about this one.
Im Listenng to this in the begining of 2023
These audio give me energy and motivation (:
Fk the Parasites
Love it!
The only evil that I've seen Is that he did not feel able that he was to fight On even footing when somebody else decided to take the very thing that he was doing and use it against him.
41:40. Got it.
You are what you decide.
This game started my slight focus in politics and economics
Andrew Ryan and Mr House from New Vegas are wonderful characters who strongly convey their message while still being eloquent and civilized despite the results.
The religious guy in New Vegas has a great voice but honestly he doesn't get his ideals through as strongly as these guys.
They are the guys that make capitalist industrialists sound like good guys, or at least with a good understanding.
"I did not face them as equals to sunder the land, only to plunder what was, as I reap my bearings to build a new foundation that stands, still among the ravage of my cohorts"
I like that people are in here acting like Andrew Ryan is right, missing the point of the game. There is a reason rapture becomes a hellish dystopia and it’s not because “Andrew Ryan is good actually”
There's no objective "point" to any piece of decent literature. You type like a Communist.
The idea is good. The reality like any ideology fails to accomodate for human nature
Did Andrew have multiple voice actors? It may be just in my head but he always sounds so different when coming through the PSAs and intercoms than he does in audiodiaries and in person.
A Man chooses a slave obeys what separates a man from a slave money power no a man chooses a slave obeys
General Skarr is Andrew Ryan
But the parasites said NO 😂
My one big disappointment with Bioshock, and I'd have loved them to have done a 'Minerva's Den' style download to satisfy my craving, was that we are unable to 'wander' around Bioshock 'open world' style.
1 & 2 were near perfect
I wonder wat Booker/Comstock thought abt andrew ryan in rapture
He had no strong opinions on him. He was just in Rapture to escape his guilt, not join Ryan’s fun club.
:)
As a wise man once said: if you’re not eating picles everyday… you’re f*cking up - zach LA16
Circa 2014 and look where we are. Fontaine cards would've been the most successful product in Rapture
Bioshock is great
Too based
"I believe in no God, no invisible man in the sky. But there is something more powerful than each of us, a combination of our efforts, a Great BlockChain of internet that unites us. But it is only when we struggle in our own interest that the Blockchain pulls society in the right direction. The Blockchain is too powerful and too mysterious for any government or bank to guide. Any man who tells you different either has his hand in your wallet, or a pistol to your neck."

WHO CAME UP WITH ALL OF THIS!!!
Ryan wouldn't be so assured of himself and his ideals if he himself ended up on streets with nothing but clothes on his back. His tenets won't feed him when getting hungry.
Well, it's not like Ryan has banned charities. Fountaine even uses one of those as a recruitment scheme in the first game, iirc.

@@Tk-mj1clAndrew always hated charity, deeming it as parasitism.
Never mind that he only got wealthy because he so happened to find oil through sheer luck.

2075 anyone played this gem ?
Where did you get the radio messages? Im trying to find a download of all the radio messages in the game. I can only find the audio dairies
www.rshayter.com/riveal/
Use this program and extract them from both Sounds_windows folder and Map folder. Radio message probably has highlighted 'R' in its filename.
@@JohnnyJohnnyJohn I tried the program but I can't seem to find the files and how to even open them or listen to them
@@QikVictory You should open the fsb file in BioShock/Content/Sounds_Windows or bsm file in BioShock/Content/Maps. Of course you must set files of type option to 'All files' when you open it.
@@JohnnyJohnnyJohn When trying to extract the fsb files it says "*** Unknown FSB signature: FSB5." The Maps folder is just sound effects. Im using another program that extracted fsb, but can't seem to be able to play ogg files. Thanks for helping me.
