Isle of Wight Coast Path 🇬🇧 Hiking & Wild Camping | Part 1/4 Cowes - Yarmouth

Finally I got a spare few days and the right weather to hike the Isle of Wight Coastal Path! I decided to start and finish the walk in Cowes, in the north-centre of the island, and walk anti-clockwise - not for any particular reason other than that for some reason felt like the right way to do it.
The temperature peaked at around 29° and there was no breeze. A lot of the walking was along roads and through forest as well as the coast on this section.
The Isle of Wight Coastal Path is 71 miles/114 km long and 6,729 feet/2,051 metres of elevation.

I enjoyed joining you on the first part of your walk around the Isle of Wight. Once you got away from the houses the views were magnificent. It has a stunning unspoilt coastline. The fish burger looked tasty. Have a safe nights camping!

Having grown up on the Island, I reckon this section was the least scenic and from here on it will be even better…
Absolutely agree! I was a bit disappointed to do so much road walking and was worried the path was going to be like that all the way round...I needn't have worried! Yeah he's one of those mad people who wear shorts all year round! 😂
Isle of Wight is one of the best parts of southern UK, didn't realise there was a whole coastal path that went the whole way around - can't way to see the rest of the videos in the series!

Definitely one thing the Isle of Wight does well is make you feel relaxed ❤ im glad you got over there its one of my favourite childhood places 😊 a good amount of berries there. Looks like a great hike through countryside and towns. Always nice to get back on the coast. Awesome chilled peaceful vibes. What do you bring with you to wild camp?
Ahh nice, it was my first time there! I just take a bivvy, sleeping bag and a sleeping mat, very minimal stuff 😎

In general, the climate of England - these houses are completely different than in Central Europe. Amazing hike and wild camping, great place to visit. Love the Isle of Wight funny enough we went on our holiday again there this year we stayed at the Chestnuts in Shanklin if you ever need a good B&B to stay at the Chestnuts is brilliant 😀

Amazing hike and wild camping 😊 The towns are nice with beautiful residential houses. The Coast is amazing. Yarmouth was pretty quiet. The best was the view of Hearst Castle with a backdrop of Sunset. 👍 Looking forward to Part 2😊
