I have a Christian friend who kept saying he wanted to buy himself a new truck. He never had one, always wanted one, and now had the money to get it. He went back and forth trying to decide if it's not a good idea to use his money for that due to materialist reasons, or if he should just get it because he's worked hard for it. I told him he's already spent so much time THINKING about it, and this truck has consumed his thoughts. Isn't it already an idol? I said he doesn't need to be ashamed if he buys it, he can buy it and feel great about it and enjoy it, but don't let these things consume your thoughts either way. I struggle with that too, I often find myself getting consumed with thoughts like that. It's not easy! Some things definitely need considerable thought, and some things can become obsessive or idolatry. I don't have the answers, but I do know we can give it up to God and ask for the Holy Spirit to guide us.
I'm leading my youth groups bible study for the first time on tuesday morning and would love prayers that I say what God wants me to and that people can get something out of it that they needed to hear!
I can't remember who told me that you can't take anything to heaven, but after that I've had no attachment to things. Now that I'm a mother I do keep things for memories, but mostly for my son to see when he's older. I also think it's important to take care of what God entrusts to us (afterall, everything belongs to God anyway). If you can't take care of your tiny apartment, why would God bless you with your dream home?

I just wanted to say THANK YOU!I've been watching your videos for awhile now and I used to skip the part where y'all say a wow or a prayer and me being born into christianism I some how lost my way from god and made myself a non believer. Due to resent events in my life I've been trying to find my way back to god and watching your videos and seeing all the faith you put into god has really help guide me back to him. I love that you always find the positive in every situation and that you care for others so dearly I know that it's a challenge and watching Carlos stepping back and realizing god is more important than materialistic things (which is something I also struggle with) is awesome. Y'all are such an inspiration to me and I thank you so much for these videos. Carlos you can definitely add me to the list of names to give to god when you enter our home to heaven!
this is exactly what i needed to hear! i just decided to put my western saddle up for sale that was been sitting for over a year ( had to give up riding horses due to financial reasons) and one of my clients ended up buying it and she said she cant thank me enough cause shes been stressing about finding one she could afford! which made me feel so good! i knew god was telling me that it was okay to part ways with it and that someone else could be putting it to good use cause the memories will always be there! :)
For anyone going through a tough time "Hang in there, we'll figure out life someday and look back at these days and be thankful for them making us stronger every day."

I would love to see the both of you go on tours to speak. Like take these WOWs and do them live! Or travel with different Christian bands and come just to speak! You both have the talent and obviously the platform! I know I would definitely be at a show even if it was just the two of you preaching or how ever you want to word it! Wow wow wow indeed. Some days your WOW's feel like they're directed at me and this was one of them. "Everything you hold onto can't be a resource for someone else." Man, did I need to hear that. I don't hold onto objects too tightly, for me it's people. I want to keep them close to me but that's not fair to them or to others they could be helping. Thank you for the reminder that people need to be shared with others so they can spread their light.

I suffer from anxiety unfortunately and lately its been really bad. I have been stressing out and it has made my anxiety worsen everyday. I would like a prayer request for strength to get through this and for things to get better before they get even worse. Thank you and god bless all of you.
every single situation, feeling is temporary. I promise it will get better. Sometimes people need their space, being alone or doing their favorite things just to go away from people and reconnect. But there's a line and when depression and anxiety kicks in, there are professionals that can help you out in a safe area and everything in time can get resolved. God bless you, I've been though everything so I understand in every level of everything.

i have ptsd and cancer side of lupus so i know the struggle. everyday feels worse than the last and whats been getting me through my days lately with anxiety is just knowing that i have books to lean on i have verses in the bible i can go and read and i know that i have a friend in jesus i can go to. and these videos help as well.

I was recently diagnosed with POTS (Postural orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome) after suffering from the symptoms for a little over 7 years. Recently my health has kept me from going to school and going to church and doing the sports and extra curricular activities that I love so much. There is no cure we just kind of try to control the symptoms. I am asking for prayers in hopes that I will get better so that I can at least make it to school at one point so that my entire freshman year of high school isn't spent home schooling. Thank you in advance to anyone who sees this.

Only our relationship with God will matter and what we did to bring others to Christ. Sometimes we get caught up with material things but we just gotta remember that all of that will stay here. How crazy is it that your book of names is going to be be so full and you never even got to meet all of them. It's such a gift that you are able to bring people to Jesus through such afvanced technology. These are people you might have never gotten the chance to show Jesus otherwise. Such a special blessing! This is a random thought so I apologize for that, but I was thinking about you two. Both of you were in movies or tv shows that affected kids so much in the past. I'm in college and still discuss spy kids and big time rush and everything. Because of your influence in people's childhoods they still want to keep up with you. They will randomly remember you and wonder where you are and then look you up, leading them to your TH-cam. And then you can share Jesus with them! That's so cool I think. Even if you aren't all over every news site or channel anymore, because of the work you put in earlier you're still bringing people in. I don't know, I'm proud for some reason haha love you both so so much!

This W.O.W. has really spoke to my life because I lost my backpack and it had my wallet and my clothes in it, at a basketball game. I have been trying all morning to contact someone to be able to go back to the bleachers and go look but since it's a holiday I guess no one is in the office. But now that I have seen this, it makes me realize May be I was suppose to leave it to bless someone else and if not God will make a way to get it back to me. This W.O.W. has really given me a peace of mind, and with that said I want to thank you for doing this every day I really appreciate you guys spreading love and God's love. Hey guys. My grandma needs as many prayers as possible. The 15th will be a year that she has been in a bed. Last year she had a brain aneurysm then was in a coma for a month. She finally came home in march this year but is still in mobile and in a hospital bed. I know she's healed but she still isn't there yet believing it. She became a born again Christian within the past few months. Please send prayers out this way thank you and god bless

Your comment about not taking the material things to heaven is a huge game changer for people. I heard it in a sermon and it resonated with me for so long, it really makes a big deal because we don't understand that materialistic things like a phone or camera don't goto heaven with us. But those memories and the knowledge that we made a difference in SOMEONE'S life.

I love how you share so much of yourselves with us. It's one of the many things I love about you guys. Regarding a previous comment below, of course Christians can have fun with Halloween! All Hallow's Eve has its roots in the Christian church, then later morphed into the secular world as Halloween. As always, I loved your WOW this evening. It's so easy to get caught up in our 'things'. Also, I struggle with sharing my faith because I'm a shy person, but that's the one thing the Lord commands of us the most...sharing his Word with the world. Thanks for the encouragement and that we're all in this together.

Carlos and Alexa just wanted to say that I absolutely love your vlog. I do have a couple quick prayer requests. First pray that God will use my new Mary Kay business as a way to reach people for him and to minister to people through it. Also please pray for my chronic health issues. I have a lot of problem with pain during the cold weather, and I'm experiencing a lot of pain right now. Again I love your vlog it teaches me things I never think about much. it also encourages me to hear you guys talk about some things that you struggle with in your walk because it helps me realize I'm not the only one that struggles with those things. Recently had to go through my stuff and get rid of A LOT, mainly just things i really didn't need anymore. While I was I hit this rough patch of like no i really love some of this I don't want to get rid of it. Then I remembered what my mom said of it just being stuff and that is replaceable and that helped me and with what you both said today it's so true. Be appreciative to what you have but always clear away the clutter so you can allow new things into your life. The new cannot be brought into your life if your life is cluttered with things you don't need. sorry it's slightly different then the main point you were making but it's where my mind went with it lol

Your words of wisdom was awesome today! I like that idea of the things we think are most precious to us are only tools for us to use, I honestly never thought about like that. But I love the idea we can use these tools to spread the word of God and what he did for all of us because that story to me will get me through my whole life but these tools will only get me a small portion of the way.

first of all... WELCOME OCEAN KING!!! CONGRATS YOU GUYS!! Im so happy that he's finally here!!!!! and wow...that WOW really got to me. I've been made at my mom for years for giving away my toys from when I was little and my outfits (which obviously don't fit anymore) but I never realised that it was just passing down a blessing. I strongly disliked my mom because of that but now I finally get it. time to pass down more blessings! thanks guys!
I think sometimes life can get rough, and filled with suffering. Therefore, it becomes hard to see Gods blessings in our lives. However, I believe even at the worst of times we can look outside our windows and see beautiful flowers, or look up at the sky and see the bright shining sun, and so much more that Jesus has created just for us to see, and admire!!! Our God is so creative, he loves us unconditionally, and he blesses us each and every single day. It is just up to us to open our eyes, and see all of Gods beauty around us.
