      wonder how long does the eye take to read both cleffs? where do u reach after say 30 exercises?.. with knowledge of music but not note reading

    Sometimes the sheet paper has so much symbols you just dont know where to start and how to read some of them. And sometimes you dont know what a spcific symbol means.

    Sight reading is so much more fulfilling than watching synthesia videos.. I could only do it fluently on the sax. My left hand finally fit into place without thinking on 40. Good to know I'm getting somewhere, barely, but somewhere.

      me too, I can sight read withsax so I assumed it would be easy but my hands always try to descend in the opposite direction

    Thank youu, this really helped me. I've been playing the piano for like 4 years and I can coordinate both hands and stuff but I really struggle to sight read!! I'm gonna try to make some progress haha

      Gosh, I’ve been playing piano for 6 months, my right hand seems to want to do exactly what my left hand does, and I’m struggling trying to learn to read sheet music.
      I’m probably too old for all of this but I’m not giving up, ever.

      @@JS45678 thank you!! Good luck too. Maybe this will help you. Record yourself playing the part you play with your left hand and then while listening to it, play the right hand part. Listen carefully so you know exactly how to coordinate. Then incorporate both together!! Also don't think too much about the left hand, if it's a pattern then it'll be easier to remember.

    This helped me so much with my sight reading. I don't take lessons or anything, but these definitely help for people getting into reading.
    (To be fair I had trouble with 40 when the bass notes came into play. Kinda wish I never started off on alto sax)

      when you play with your left hand it’s in the bass clef. so c will be where a is, b will be where g is (on treble clef). idk you probably got help after 6 months

      you see that b like thing (♭) almost at the very begining? its on the third line where the B is. which means all Bs here, are actualy B flat (the nearest black key to the LEFT).
      theres another one as well, the sharp sign (♯). with sharps you play the nearest black key to the RIGHT.
      im still learning as well, but i hope you get it.

    My father was a musician before and he used to teach me how to play piano when i was 4 years old, but that time he cheated on my mother and abandon us, now i really want to learn playing piano but no one in my family knows how to play piano so here i am searching in yt but i really dont get it unless someone teaches me personally

      You can teach yourself it's not difficult if you out your mind to it. I First learned how to read notes and how to form my hand on the piano.
