Welcome To Stockholm, Sweden! 🇸🇪
When you travel to Sweden And Stockholm City the Vasa museum is a must visit! There is the only preserved Swedish battleship or Swedish warship in the world.
98% original after being under water for 333 years outside Stockholm city. This Old warship tour is top on things to do in Stockholm city on trip advisor.
You wont find any other combat vessel like this anywhere and it's spectacular even if you're not into European warship.
It was built between 1626 and 1628. The ship sank after sailing roughly 1,300 m into her maiden voyage on 10 August 1628.
She fell into obscurity after most of her valuable bronze cannons were salvaged in the 17th century, until she was located again in the late 1950s in a busy shipping area in Stockholm harbour.
The ship was salvaged with a largely intact hull in 1961.
She was housed in a temporary museum called Vasavarvet until 1988 and then moved permanently to the Vasa Museum in the Royal National City Parkin Stockholm.
The ship is one of Sweden's most popular tourist attractions and has been seen by over 35 million visitors since 1961. Since her recovery, Vasa has become a widely recognised symbol of the Swedish Empire.
I Hope You Enjoy This Video Or Any Of My Many Others! 🥳

Yes, I liked the video. I am Swedish. It was many years since I saw Vasa the last time. Now I can add another thing to do when my friend in Bahrain visits Sweden. I don't know when he will come and visit me but I am already thinking of what to do when he comes. Mahmood is a known peace activist who follows pages like the Holocaust memorial. That's how I got in touch with him.
So cool!
Amazing video!
This visit is an absolute must! I heard they are planning to rescue another ship like this in the same area. A collection of 2 would be amazing!!
Even better in person man! looking forward to that!
@@williamseef hi, yes i went in 2008 and again this august. I m a big fan of Scandinavia!
Have to visit this place! 😍
Enjoyed visiting the Vasa in 2009
Nice film, as for men banging their heads, people were a lot shorter back in the 17th Century, the holes on the sides are called Gun ports and she was a ship not a boat!
Thanks a lot Keith! 🎉
Cool
For sure one of a kind man! Link to the full episode below!

Thank you for showing us the ship. I would love to travel there and see it. Cheers from the US.
I have been onboard....😁😁
I'm very jealous! 😀
@@williamseef it was kinda cool ..
Visit the captains cabin etc.... The helm... And so on ... Very tight spaces .
@@AnnWahlquist Must been a great experience!
I was in Stockholm last year for my birthday. Anyway, I was only there for about a couple of days. And I remember walking past this place. And I was actually gonna go in. But I had some stuff I had to take care of before I headed to Lithuania. After watching your video? Absolutely regret not going in there. I’m gonna go back to Sweden again hopefully this year and take a look at everything inside this museum
Its a very cool experience even if you not a museum person!
Was surprised after how interesting it was! Well worth a visit man!
Hope you end up in Sweden soon! 🇸🇪
Hey buddy
good video
also, back then the goal was never to sink a boat in battle but rather to kill all or most the men onboard.
that's the reason for the projectiles looking that way.
take care
It looking like a viking ship!
