TØYEN PARKRUN! The first parkrun I have done in Norway! Join me as I provide an in-depth review of the Tøyen parkrun experience and the stunning and hilly park surroundings. A five lapper running around Tøyen park partly on paved trails and hiking trails. It is a local and quiet run with less than 100 attendees, therefore, you will find that you can stand however close to the front you would like, however, the five lap, hilly course and gravel bends make it not a great parkrun for a PB! This is the 21st parkrun I have recorded of which you can find a playlist of them on my channel!

I will be doing parkruns all over the UK and rest of the world! Every Saturday I take part in a 5K run trying my hardest to get under 20 mins. Tøyen parkrun is a parkrun within Oslo, closeest parkrun to the centre. It is located at Tøyen park and is a great run to tick off the "T" on the alphabeteer challenge. The gravel has now been swept away and their sister event Nansenparken parkrun (also in Oslo) is actually all tarmac and flat so if you prefer that, check that one out 😄

I did this parkrun last year, it was rather repetitive and hilly, like you said. A mass of Scottish parkrunners when I was there are Scotland were playing Norway at Football.

Oh nice! Yeah it is a repetitive run for sure. Scottish taking over the parkrun 😄 It looked like an entertaining game to go watch with 6 goals! I wanted to go and watch one of the European qualifiers for Norway friendlies vs Czech but unfortunately I left a day early for it.

I love travelling so I went to explore Oslo, Stockholm and Helsinki for the first time 😄 I have actually vlogged my visit so that will be out in a few weeks time. Next weeks parkrun is in Helsinki 🥶
