    Great video! In my experience, the deltoid is a consistent blind spot for my radiology residents.

    The deltoid has several tendon insertions to acromion Are they visible on mri?

    Can MRI show detatchment of trapezius or rhomboid? Or severe grade 3 strain?
    Is this impossible to be seen on MRI?

    Can we used cor stir in shoulder scan rather than pd FS

      STIR sequences are inherently low in signal and require longer scan times to gain similar image quality. A good PD or T2 fat sat will give you improved resolution over a shorter scan time. Shorter scan times reduce the chance of patient movement which is a problem in shoulder imaging. The only benefit of a STIR sequence is guaranteed fat saturation. I would only use STIR s on shoulders with metallic implants or if the shoulder coil kept producing poor fat saturation.i hope that is helpful

      @@markward2767 it is also difficult to obtain good fat sat image in 1.5T..sometimes subcutaneous fat not suppressed complete..
