Your videos are great, thanks for sharing your knowledge bcs is pretty expensive to go on congress and educations if we doctors have to pay for ourselves :)
STIR sequences are inherently low in signal and require longer scan times to gain similar image quality. A good PD or T2 fat sat will give you improved resolution over a shorter scan time. Shorter scan times reduce the chance of patient movement which is a problem in shoulder imaging. The only benefit of a STIR sequence is guaranteed fat saturation. I would only use STIR s on shoulders with metallic implants or if the shoulder coil kept producing poor fat saturation.i hope that is helpful
I might have missed a few of them. Thanks for the video agten
Great video! In my experience, the deltoid is a consistent blind spot for my radiology residents.
Thanks for sharing!
Great video!
Thanks for the visit
The deltoid has several tendon insertions to acromion Are they visible on mri?
Can MRI show detatchment of trapezius or rhomboid? Or severe grade 3 strain?
Is this impossible to be seen on MRI?
Thx 😘

It's also personal preference sometimes. Both can be helpful
@@markward2767 it is also difficult to obtain good fat sat image in 1.5T..sometimes subcutaneous fat not suppressed complete..
