Here's a great Christmas song from Lovebites - with snow and everything . . on stage. And, you get to see a fresh style from the ladies that will surprise you, but it's still Lovebites. *_A Frozen Serenade_* Live from the Ride for Vengeance Tour in Tokyo, 2021 th-cam.com/video/L_qeQmn73co/w-d-xo.html You'll also get to find out why they have that white Grand Piano on Stage.
A thrash masterpiece. Midori and Miyako are the best guitar duo I have seen in 40+ years. They have many musical influences - Deep Purple, Judas Priest, Helloween, Iron Maiden, Megadeth, Metallica, Slayer, Testament to name a few - a great era of music
That's a great reaction. There are so many great LOVEBITES songs to recommend for listening to on the 25th, it's hard to choose, but I think "Soldier Stands Solitarily " is the best power & speed(195bpm) metal song, and "Swan Song + Chopin Intro" is the best beautiful metal song with piano. I'm looking forward to it.
LOVEBITES - Set The World On Fire lyrics & credits: The blue moon colors the blaze Stabbing myself with the thunder The predetermined imitation An emotionless and a fearless smile Flowing blood and crimson blade Devastated resolution Heat haze is waving far away Who’s going to be sacrificed? Great reaction ! This song is more American thrash (reminiscent of early Metallica, Slayer, Testament, etc...) with a galloping riff in the verse. So not power metal per se. These amazing and innovative ladies have made heavy metal their own.
When LOVEBITES thrash, they do it as well (and in my opinion better) as any of the legendary thrash bands from yesteryear. If they were playing this music in the mid 1980s, they'd be as famous as Metallica.
LB blends classic metal influences with their own style and even adds many songs with classic influences. This was in a dead COVID arena and yet they still rocked the place to the ground. This entire album of this show is awesome and shows off the insane talent in the band.
Set the World on Fire is thrash metal. this concert took place during the covid pandemic.therefore, there were many restrictions for the audience. Including, the audience was not allowed to shout, sing, leave their seats, etc. the only thing that was allowed to the audience was applause. if you want to check out more thrash metal songs by Lovebites, i suggest checking out these songs: Break the Wall, Thunder Vengeance, M.D.O.

Haha, Mike, from the moment we watched your first reaction to Lovebites, we sort of knew you were hooked with this incredibly talented heavy metal band. If your search is to pick one band you want to see live, you need to look no further than Lovebites. I flew to London from NY to see them this past summer and it was all well worth it. But if you are willing to travel, then you should try to do it early next year when they will tour Japan for 8 days. Their Japan shows will have far better production value and longer set than those outside of their home country. Also, they have announced that in this Japan tour, they will be debuting a few of their songs that they previously have not performed live. Go do it. I wish I could join you in Japan. I just hope that they will have live streams for some of these shows so we can all join in from oversea.
@@mikesmusicalrehab Mexico will have to do but if you can make it, in Japan, you will see the full LB production complete with laser lights, Miyako's guitar collection and his keyboards including a baby grand for her classical piano solos. LB at this stage of their career simply isn't big enough to support bring all their production on the road. I was able to travel to London to see them but it was a stripped down show, and even that it was totally amazing. I'll try to make one of their Japan show one of these days.
@@mikesmusicalrehab Go check with the Lovebites fan club and see if you can hook up with other fans who may be going to their shows. The fan club is only about $4 a month. While at it, you may want to check out any other bands that maybe playing at around that time. Enjoy!
