I don't know if this guy is old enough to know about the wi cricket history, because he wouldn't be talking like that. I been watching the wi cricket more than 60years and know,that the wi cricket never good at all until Lloyd took over and. In his early age the wi was no good until 1976, after the wi team was badly humiliated by Australia 🇦🇺 in 1975/76 series. Then the wi team started their dominance in 1976 , when they beating England for the first time in decades.Then in 1980 New Zealand beating the wi team in 4 years, losing the series one nil and. Then they came back and lost to India 🇮🇳 in 1983 wc and that was, the ending in the wc cricket for the mighty wi team and. In those days it was 60 overs not 50 overs and, then they changed it to 50 overs in 1987 wc and. It took the wi team 27 years to break the spells, when Lara lead the wi team beating England to win the ICC championship trophy competition in about 2004 and then. The wi team went on to win 2 T20 trophies competition, that guy needs to check his records. The women them played the cricket world cup championship trophy competition before the men them, the women played their first wc in 1973 and there was 2 teams entered the women wc from the wi in 1973. Trinidad and Jamaica 🇯🇲 sending their own teams to the women wc and, it happened in 1998 in the commonwealth games. I am just showing Jamaica 🇯🇲 that they are wasting their time with a team, which is not going nowhere at all. While Jamaica 🇯🇲 as a larger country and most population,they are having a very hard to get into the team. Because of the biased selection, of the players.

They came back also lost to India 🇮🇳 in 1983 odi wc, and they never win another wc trophy competition championship from 1975 and 79 .Also in 1995 when Australia 🇦🇺 beaten the wi team at Sabina Park Kingston Jamaica 🇯🇲 and from there on, the wi team started to declined further. So when some people is blaming the T20 cricket leagues around the world, which just came in 2007 .When the players them who is playing in the T20 cricket leagues around the world, they are not considered a test cricketers. All of a sudden they are trying to find something to put the blame on, when they know. That is them the former players who played poorly over the years and, because these guys is making some decent money. They all envious of those guys money, because if the T20 cricket leagues around the world didn't come in. Those players would be suffering big times, because it is not saying that the wi did a program for. The players who cannot make the team again, is to help them getting some form of financial support. Those players haveto try and find some way to live, so those arguments about the T20 cricket leagues around the world destroyed the wi cricket. Anybody who is around a very long time like I , they will know that it is all a big fat lie. Although the former players them is blaming the T20 cricket leagues around the world, the same players them won 2 T20 cricket championship trophies competition for the wi team and. Away from the players who played with Lloyd in the 2 odi championship trophies competition they won, the rest of them cannot say so. Also the main reason why the wi team is strong over the years, certain small islands is trying to control the cricket over the years and. They are failing for years, Lloyd picked the best players from all the countries in the team. Not like now one country having 8 to 9 mideocre players in the team and, continues to lose ok.

To see them win the first two one day world cups and to go over a decade unbeaten in a test series. However that was a long long time ago . One day cricket and the lucrative 20/20 cricket has destroyed West Indies test cricket. The West Indian cricketers playing the 20/20 cricket only has left a vacuum , a great big hole that cannot be filled by new West Indian players that are not ready for test cricket. It’s sad but with a heavy heart I say thanks for the memories , but it’s time to stop playing test cricket in the West Indies. It’s not fair on the players cricket fans and public.
