I am not a runner, But I am enjoying the cloudhorizon (waterproof) For city walks/ little moderate hikes. Using them for work at the moment. I am a bit heavier (around 100kg's) And had a problem with my feet. So the cloudsurfers (and cloudtilt/cloud) are too soft at the moment. For walks i kinda need the shoes with mission grip.
I run on the road 70% and on not technical trails (30%). I wear Cloudsurfer Trail +++++. They are perfect road to trail shoes for me. I'am not heavy and they are very confortable.
Good choice; it’s one of my top rated road to trail running shoes! Check out the Nike Pegasus Trail next time, even better when it comes to technical trails
I feel like there should be... but not heard any whispers of it yet.. The Cloudvista 2 is a good replacement (depending on how you plan to use them), if you can't wait.
@@trailandkale Thanks for answering! I am also looking at buying a pair for road running with a mix of asphalt and gravel. I watched your reviews and I'm wondering whether I should go for the cloudsurfer 7 or the cloudsurfer trail? I am leaning towards the trail version since I'll be mostly using it in fall and winter (in Norway) on wet surfaces, but on the other hand I am thinking I'll be better off buying a shoe that is more road focused since I have a pair of trail shoes.
Yeah out of those two, go for the Cloudsurfer trail - it actually performs really admirably on both surfaces. Here are my other top road-to-trail picks right now worth looking at: www.trailandkale.com/roundups/best-trail-running-shoes-buyers-guide/#best-road-to-trail-running-shoes -- If you are lookig for a road shoe for gravel, you could look at something like the Superblast 2 (www.trailandkale.com/shoe-reviews/asics-superblast-2-review/) potentially but if you want to take them on light trails too you're probably better off with a road to trail shoe. - Hope that helps a bit..? -Alastair

You did not have the opportunity to use the cloudhorizon yet, right?
Not yet no. This is my On Cloud trail running shoe roundup.
I need to replace my Cloudultra 2 soon. Do you reckon there'll be a version 3 soon?

So, no Cloudventure Peak 3 ?
no, I recommend avoiding that one for reasons explained here: th-cam.com/video/FovuN1YwT78/w-d-xo.html
