I have a rotary vise on order & have recently been viewing videos on rotary tying in anticipation of its arrival. While all have been helpful, this one by the Beatty’s has really shown some techniques I haven’t seen or expected. It’s quite valuable & will definitely need a re-watch after I get used to my new vice & master some of the real basics of rotary use. Thank you to the Beatty’s & thank you to FFI for sponsoring & posting this.
The camera expertise looks to be ...very old, outdated, as in 70's type. It's horrible. When I compare it to a Carlie Craven or a Barry Clark video, it's seriously lacking. That's not to say the video content was bad. The fly tying expertise was great, but a modern camera guy is needed here.
