    I was working in a business park near there this year and a road rail crane came past on the line which was encouraging.
    Most of the rail budget is being hoovered up by HS2 sadly.

    my school bus went over the crossing, you rarely ever saw a train, think once or twice, if you did, they would be tankers being taken to ICI

      @@RWHTrains it was always fascinating to me to see it, because it looked disused through the 70's and 80's when I used the school bus, often wanted to explore the place, particularly the signal box, live too far away now

      It's really well preserved compared to a lot of the stations. Burn Naze looks like it's worth a visit as well from what I can see online but unfortunately its completely inaccessible
