I was working in a business park near there this year and a road rail crane came past on the line which was encouraging. Most of the rail budget is being hoovered up by HS2 sadly.
@@RWHTrains it was always fascinating to me to see it, because it looked disused through the 70's and 80's when I used the school bus, often wanted to explore the place, particularly the signal box, live too far away now
It's really well preserved compared to a lot of the stations. Burn Naze looks like it's worth a visit as well from what I can see online but unfortunately its completely inaccessible

my school bus went over the crossing, you rarely ever saw a train, think once or twice, if you did, they would be tankers being taken to ICI
