I live in Austin TX, and I found that Goodwill works very well! Although I think going in with the mindset to crop things and DIY them makes thrifting a lot easier! Good luck!!

I live in Milwaukee too! Depending on where you live, the brown deer goodwill is good for the most part depending on your style or the one on Oakland. I have only been to a value village here once and found only a few things.
Hannah Eli thanks! I’ve found a couple good finds at the value villages around here but they are more “run down” and not taken very good care of. But I’ve had some great luck at St Vincent DePaul and the Goodwill in New Berlin, Brookfield and Oconomowac ☺️
