    The last apartheid state standing in 2015.

      Kanda Rabi False, apartheid on women and gays (and other less fortunate minorities) is taking place in Saudia Arabia, Syria, Iraq, and in nearly all mideast Arab countries.
      I love how a video of police brutality goes viral, and you immediately cry apartheid. In America, this guy would have been shot 15 times for resisting arrest. Please. Get an education, and quit throwing words you don't understand around. You cheapen what those who really suffered in apartheid went through.

      Steven Lawrence And so using your logic, ignorance in other countries (which are hardly comparable to the daily atrocities and discrimination that take place in Israel) make it OK for Israel to remain a shitty little apartheid state in 2015?

      @BobWilly44 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      It was obvious the police had a situation and the hero soldier did all he can to disrupt that. Police was walking away and the soldier provoked it. The police tried to push is bike out of the way and the soldier threw the first punch. The police had more respect for the soldier and did not draw his gun or beat him when he was down. The soldier makes another situation by picking up a rock. Good job soldier. Well done.

      MrParkinthedark When I said "hero soldier" and "good soldier" I was being very very sarcastic. My point was this fool of a soldier was wrong in every way possible. Which point were you trying to make?...besides throwing rocks?

    We do not know the full story. For we were not there. We do not know what happened beforehand. Yes it was an overreaction on the part of the police. But do not judge unless you are prepared to be judged yourself.

    This kind of violence occurs almost everywhere, whether in China against Uighurs, Tibetans, Christians; in Turkey against leftists, and Kurds; in Iran against leftists, secularists, or Azeris; Russia, against pro-democracy activists, gay rights activists or Tatars, or in Israel. And we have seen where state violence can lead in Syria, Bahrein, or Algeria. Where such violent crackdowns do not happen, that is because such societies are so tightly controlled, that no one would dare to protest. Have you heard lately of any protests in North Korea, Cuba, or Eritrea?

  • @gaitn.8802
    @gaitn.8802 9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    When I watch the video, I've the impression the soldier gets in the first seconds a 'request' to move to the right. Also seems it some seconds later, the soldier refuses to do so. Then the problems really start. But indeed the violence is more than inappropriate!

  • @adlsp
    @adlsp 9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    At first I took the side of the soldier, But after I watched the video a few times I came to a different conclusion. Notice that initially the cop told the solder (who was holding his bike) to move on, motioning the solder to go back (whatever the reason), and the cop was starting to step away 0.06 when the IDF soldier probably said something nasty, the cop who was walking away suddenly reacted and that's when it started. The IDF soldier probably escalated a non-event situation. Cops are trained not to take any BS and we expect them to act that way. We pay them to keep order. I wish we could have an audio of the incident, the soldier clearly said something that caused the cop to react. Calling this a racist event is just the agenda of some true losers in society.

      A. Safa ÜSTÜN Actually, the Jews lived in what is now Palestine Israel long before Arab Muslims invaded and colonised the region after 622 AD. They might have become a minority and suffered expulsions here and there (including in the 20th century), but they were alright. They were also certainly there long before the Turks invaded and began colonising Asia Minor in the 11th century, wiping out Armenians, Assyrians and Greeks, or denying for decades the existence of Kurds, or as they called them: "Mountain Turks". Sadly, history is full of population movements and land changing hands by force. Unless we stop pimping god on behalf of this or that claim and sit down to work a way to live together, the next wars might turn the region into a human-free zone because of the potential for nuclear weaponisation of the conflict.

      morpheus622 It's quite funny if you think about it. Power was all that mattered at first. People with power took what they want and continued to do so. Those with less power took less things. Over and over, against their own and others.
      And now people cry for those who had lesser influence, when they did the same thing just to a lesser degree because they couldn't do it as well then. Hasn't history shown us this?
      Every group has it's own violent horrible past. Every race. But you see people crying for only certain races and bringing up the past of only one race. As if it changes the past, present or future. It is quite funny.

  • @BobWilly44

    where does race come into this? told to move, ignores police, told again and wants to take on police. What am I missing here? A soldier should understand law and order better than the average person. Racism this is not. Arrogant is more like it.

      ***** What order? A soldier can't walk on the street with his fucking bike?! A Police should RESPECT a SOLDIER that's risking HIS LIFE to protect the cops and their families from harm!!

    • @BobWilly44
      @BobWilly44 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      A soldier will understand the police have a job to do. A real soldier would have told the police "what can I do to assist"This guy ignores the police and keeps talking on his phone. Note the police was walking away. Rambo was lucky he didnt get shot when he picked up a rock. The cop didnt even draw his gun and when Rambo was down, they just held him instead of beatinh him with batons

    He fared a LOT better than he would have in America, where we know from many videos and daily police murders that the would have just as likely continued beating him or shot him. They kept their weapons holstered and waited for backup and did not take the bait when the Ethiopian guy threatened them with a cinderblock. Don't know exactly what happened, looks like a pissing contest gotten out of hand, but nothing nearly worth protesting over. Dude was basically unhurt. Predictably, though, it brings the Jew-haters out of the woodwork. Well hi guys! Don't worry about it, they'll keep inventing technology and cancer cures for you, they didn't need you before and they don't need you now. BTW all of you genetics experts out there - the Khazar stuff is science fiction, has no scientific method or peer review, look up actual credible studies on Haplogroup K (Behar 2006) and find that Ashkenazis the world over are closely related to each other and to Sephardic Jews. Ta ta!

    To much force : yes. I am curious to know what the assaulted man said to the first police man to get him to try enforce the first thing the police had said to him !? Something like : Sir please go there ... ? Stand over there ? Take your bicycle and go that way !? Then what was said at that point that got the cop to loose his cool ?

    As we see there is provocation on his side, he aimed at them with a rock so it was completely logical to threaten him with a gun in response and they even did not point at him. And we can't hear conversation, if there was a vocal record too, maybe it could explain their attitude, if they received a few swear words for example. Anyway, it's never good when people are beaten, maybe he wasn't prudent enough, though. Seems we people are still not civilized enough to abolish violence..
