Best air dry clay recipe for crafting - Palmer clay substitute (read description box)

Disclaimer:
*Turns out that it's better to rather skip the scented oil in this recipe, the clay still works fantastic, but next time I won't add it!
*Over cooked clay can still be used, it's merely a bit tougher and bit more chunky. So you are going to smooth the clay out with water a bit more than you would with a perfectly cooked batch.
Clay is such an essential part of making miniatures and I searched long and hard for a recipe that would fit my needs. I needed a clay that was able to make the most intricate of pieces yet be strong enough to hold - Palmer clay seemed like the perfect solution, but it can be very expensive, hard to find and not everybody has a oven to bake the pieces. Hopefully this recipe helps you as much as it has helped me!
(P.s. I had my first batch for over a year and it didn't mold or get bad)

Nice clay to keep kids busy during holidays. Because it dries hard...they can make Christmas tree decor or any nice ornaments
