- One of my favorite songs from when I was little and my mom and dad sang with a gospel quartet. I hope it speaks to you. My mother passed February 6 2022 at 76 i am a big tough 54 year old man and i cant hold back the tears when i watch your videos they are so much of a blessing and until someone doesnt have their mother anymore they can not imagine the joy of rhis music. She is such an angel and when they are sick and you know your muscles and toughness cant fight it you feel so helpless. I protected my mother from the time i got old and big enough from anything that could hurt her or anything when my father was at work and when he got to old to protect her she knew nobody could hurt her because of me. When i was at the hospital the night she passed away i wanted death to show himself so i could not let him take her but i could do nothing...nothing. it was her time to go to jesus and she was ready she taught us growing up about god and the bible and i was born again at 15 but i didnt want her to go i want just to hear her call my name one more time and it is impossible. If this lady is gone to heaven when i write this i want to thank you for sharing it but i want to thank god for giving ladies like her and my mother to be our mom no matter how old we get thank you lord. If you are reading this and still have your mother everybody stop now and go tell her you love her because tomorrow she may be gone. Thank you so much

I only heard my mother sing in church. My sister and I sang in church also and Mom always encouraged us. I still like to sing and still have a pretty harmony voice. You're a wonderful son and you singing with your Mom bring tears to my eyes.

Being brought up listening to my mamaw and friends and neighbors, playing and singing this music was a blessing in itself, now I'm grown with my own family, I hope one day when my kids think back on me , they'll remember these songs and how the presence of God came with them , I hope they remember hearing me pray and teaching them about God. This kind of life is as close to heaven on earth as you'll ever find

I looked on your page, and it looks like you do too. he's 58, the only one around in that age group, in OK anyway. my Sis has alzeheimers, and used to love to sing. her favorite thing when she was younger, was all night gospel singing meetings. the joy from these times with your Sweet Mother radiates from your face and hers, and I understand when you say you "have her back," only too well. Just saw this video posted on Facebook, and have to say Brian...thanks for capturing this moment. I had these same moments with my grandfather. Although he passed away already, I still remember playing and singing southern gospel and bluegrass music every time my brother and I could!!! Thank again!

I just read an article about you and your beautiful mother on 22 Words. I had to look you up! I lost my mom two years ago. She had Lewy Body Dementia, and she had good days and bad days. On bad days, I would pop in her favorite music and she would snap out of it! it is amazing how the mind works. thank God she has you to turn her confusion into happiness.
