I watched the movie here in New Zealand three weeks ago not knowing anything. about it and wow it left such an effect on me. Watching Philimina and Jane was sooo good and bought everything back to me so thankyou so much. xx 😢

Thanks for not interrupting. Some really interesting stuff I've never heard before in other interviews because you let Steve Coogan talk.

What a great interview, I like it when your interviews become slightly discursive rather than talking about the same film for the entirety.. Although, I think I say that only because I haven't yet seen this films, haha. Lovely man, Coogan, quite inspirational stuff! :)

Personally, I don't find him too funny as a comedian, but I absolutely loved Philomena. So, hat's off to him, and to his will to do something different and challenge himself

Alan Partridge not funny? Have you seen it? I respect your opinion, but I find it hard to believe that you don't find Steve Coogan funny, because Alan Partridge is an incredible comic creation.

He was convincing in Philomena,I managed to let go of Alan Partridge for a bit.

How perceptive Steve Coogan is! One of the worst traits of the English character is the cult of "one-upmanship", what Steve defines here at 21:00 as "everyone trying to be cool and smart and postmodern and ironic in inverted commas...no one seems to be saying anything straightforward and honest, it seems to be more and more rare" . Yes indeed, very rare for anyone English to see that. Bravo

Didn't think Steve Coogan fitted the part.
