That unboxing by you was magic! So organized. Excellent example of how to keep a job like that under control. And I note you not only saved all that metal from the landfill but also all the paper boxes and cardboard are going to be recycled. Save the Earth and make some cash too! ❤🌎👏
I've know too many scrappers that end up hoarders . They pile it up all over the place, never sort it out and put stuff in storage units!!!! Angel from Norfolk VA
The only thing more impressive than your finds scavenging is the order and neatness when preparing for a scrap yard run! I’m kinda a neat freak and love it! Keep on scavenging Mike! 🇺🇸
If he lived near me, I'd try to hire him to organize my garage. Right now, it looks like a thrift store truck just backed up and dumped a load there. I had to clean out a garage that my mom had, and I haven't had the time to sort and tidy up.
Nice haul Mike! How is that new "Penny" doing. She has such a sweet face. You can't make the scar's disappear on the outside but love will heal her heart. Love heals all things.
She’s doing fabulous! We are still calling her Mercy and it’s starting to stick I think. I don’t think I’ll ever go the puppy route again. Too many precious baby’s need adopting
Doesn't matter there was no copper you still made Bank on them , and didn't even go to the yard with the rest. Love the videos Mike I didn't start scraping till 82 . I only scraped aluminum and copper being in the construction business replaced thousands of windows and and tore down so many aluminum structures to build real additions probably took enough in to build a B17 with engines. Keep it up brother.👍👍
Double pole contactors . The price is pretty much dependent on the coil voltage. Low voltage / 28 vAC. Higher voltage / 110--220 vAC. The Lower voltage are on HVAC residential , the higher voltage are more for a chilled water system or for commercial units over 7.5 ton. Some electric heat strips use them to engage the voltage on the heat coils. (Electric heat, mobile homes etc. )
Mike your one of the FEW I will watch the ads for. Nice haul for you. It was nice to even see you doing all the work for that money! Thanks for sharing can't wait for the next one!
You have changed our opinion about the scrap collector. You are a respected and diligent person and love your work. These are the qualities of a superior human being. Despite your hard work, we notice that you maintain cleanliness... Continue and try to thank God because people love you more day by day... Greetings from Kurdistan
Mike I'm sitting home from broken bones and have enjoyed you going out and finding your pot of gold. I'm in air-conditioned comfort and being cared for by rehabilitation home. Mike please stay hydrated and in a cooler place. Thank you for being entertainment while I heal. Stay safe to you and yours.
98 here in north texas about 10 miles from the red river. HOT, DRY and no wind and my neighbor called just now and asked if I could come down and help him take down there trampoline and a swing set for the metal so he could mow under them. I told him lets wait intell about 7 or 8 after it cools down and I will mow your yard for you in the morning. he said ok sounds good. he is 82 and still out there in this heat wanting to take this stuff apart. Heck I just got finished feeding my pigs, goats, horses and cattle and I look like I fell in the swimming pool I am so wet from sweat and wore out from the heat and I'm 62. this old man cant take the heat like I use too. Time too set down and watch ol mike,s videos for a while.
Loved this episode. I would have come to help you take the stuff out of the boxes. But I live in Canada soooo. Lol. Keep it up Mike my husband and I love watching you.
Brother, you can tell you are not from the south where I live! Your yard is immaculate. Where I live, scrappers yards look like the back of your truck! Outstanding!
Oh my gosh! When you see that all separated- boxes, cardboard, and parts, it's mind-boggling what you saved from a landfill! Kudos! That was a ton of work to get that done, thank you for taking care of planet Earth. It has been terribly hot. Stay hydrated, stay safe and GOD bless
Your scrap yards are paying way better than the ones in Florida. Scrap was up to $13 a hundred for steel aka 13 cents a pound. It is now dropped the $7 100lb or 7 cents a pound
My guess is that white Honda Accord always parked out in front of Mike's house is his going around town car. I cant possibly see him taking the old lady out in the scrap mobile, or maybe it isnt ;-)
I had to do this recently with a bunch of gear from gas station vacuums. Boxes and boxes of pre packaged spare plugs/ power supplies/control boards etc. So much tedious work, but i enjoyed it.
Aww, air guitar! You're a virtuoso at air guitar! Awesome scrap run! #WatchYoHead #MTSScavengerKing #GottaBeStrong have a great day friends! Weekend is almost here!
Your narrative at all times, puts a smile on my face. You are really funny at times. I enjoy watching your scraping and hearing you describe everything. Thanks.
Saw below someone asked about Mercy glad she's doing well love helps all. Glad too see follow up too the box dumpster. My arms hurt just watching all that!!! Lol
Mike, you have the patience of a saint & a stick to it work ethic! You made getting thru all those boxes look effortless and your persistence certainly paid off!! Great job! Thanks for taking us along.
another fantastic video! and of course love the air guitar :) thanks for taking us along on your scrap run..keep hydrated and i will be watching for your next one! Your my #1 you tuber and scrapper!! God Bless you and your family
I know you were miserable doing that in the heat, like you said, it would have been nice to find that in the winter instead. You are such a hard worker Mike, I challenge ANYONE that says otherwise to spend a week doing what you do and in the Houston heat/humidity. I live in Phoenix area and actually love the heat, but there's no denying it takes a toll on you (and it's a DRY heat! 🤣🤣) Love what you do and sharing it with us. I hope between the $178 PLUS the TH-cam income from the 2 videos it was worth your while. I 💙 MTS! 🐼🧦💪😰🤩

Thank you. Being organized is a big part of efficiency
It was soo therapeutic to watch.

Mike is definitely organized. I've watched other scrappers and they drivevme crazy how disorganized they are. Mike always gets a A++++++

I loved the name Mercy glad you kept it. You and Mrs. Mike are da bomb.
Mike is the best air guitarist in the world!
You earned every penny of that Mike. Have a cold one and relax a minute. See you again soon. Thanks for showing this follow up.
This video is why you're my favorite scrapper!
Nice payout Mike. You did good!!!! Money for someone's trash is priceless!

NICE! STILL LOVIN' THE AIR GUITAR, MIKE.🇺🇲💕
Wow not bad money from trash and some for resale!!!! Awesome loved the air guitar! 👍🙂👍✌🎸
When pushing heavier materials with your broom Mike, flip it upside down, use the top of the broom. Works much better.
Not to bad at all...thanks for the hard work to keep the landfills less nasty...
Dang, man. Look at those shadows move.
And the trash bags.

GO MIKIE, YOU EARNED YOUR SCRAP MONEY ON THIS ONE.
Mike Mike Mike you the man.free money in the dumpster. You do you.
those look like contactors used in HVAC systems, if so they are worth a lot to heating and cooling companies

Broom Guitar player with nice sounds.... Love it. 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Good Afternoon My Good Bro Mike The Scavenger
Fantastic job today mike!!! S.o great to see you at the scrap yard to !
They are contactors (switches), saleable as is, love how you turned $4,000 into $178 so efficiently.
They're cheap and it would have taken him a year to sell them if not longer. Maybe you have a ton of storage space but he doesn't.

Thanks for the update. It is hot like the devil no breeze til late in the day.
You're killing me, Mike. I think you had good resale stuff there.
Hvac contactors are worth $10-30 each.
@@drewaholic8009 so 20,000 to 60,000 he scraped for pennies on the dollar
