    My hands start sweating and aching seeing that saw get so close to his. We had a carpenter on my staff that lost a finger doing wood working like that. Easily one of the most stress inducing videos I’ve seen…and yet I love watching this guy work

    That's cool and all, I'd like to see an application for these joints.

    Bardzo sprytne połączenie, ale jest niestabilne w jednym kierunku. Pewnie wymaga kołkowania. Jak zwykle świetna robota. Zawsze oglądam z wielkim zaciekawieniem.

      This particular joint is decorative, not a supportive type joint. As Jamie stated, not all of his joints are for structural support. There are a few but, not many. Think of this as, what you can do with so few tools, time and patience. This gets one started in the right direction though. Cheers :)

    I just wish I knew what he measures and why.

    • @Maradnus
      @Maradnus ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It doesn’t matter, just drawing the shape and making sure that the measurements match on both pieces.
      Obviously for strength and stability don’t make your angles too steep but that’s common sense.

    • @Michel-7.7.7
      @Michel-7.7.7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Why? Because a 1inch gap would suck

  • @boywonder6659

    You could use this joint to extend the upright on a crucifix on a church steeple.
