@creepingtod yes. hypergo makes a ton of versions of the hypergo 1/16 they just have different body mounts/bodies, shock length or other small differences, I have bought 6 different models and swapped bodies on some of them(must have the same front bumper or you have to swap those too. Some of the brushed models do have plastic gears, half the axles are plastic etc that makes it cheaper and less strong.

Can confirm all good, for some longer shocks with more travel now this thing jumps awesome and doesn't bottom out, and can actually get through the grass now. But now I’m thinking bigger tires. I just can’t leave well enough alone.

Unfortunately the only other remotes I’ve really tried are these: amzn.to/48UTLVR They’re good remotes for a good price but I’m not sure if they would be more comfortable or not.
They is crazy, i think we are going to see a lot with this model cloned, i still gonna stick with MJX, they are the 1st to do it & they do it great! When i do get the budget RC, it’s only WLTOYS or MJX only, great content like always 😉💪🏽💯
I found this version to be a bit more planted as well but I used 15mm wheel spacers from day 1. Also just picked up 1/12 scale wheels originally for the HBX. Oh and I used a strap instead of the the stupid latch. Only one outta 4 of my 1/16 scale hyper go's had a plastic frame with strap and that was the MEW4 truck variant, though the ESC is 35A brushless with built in RX and motor is a little smaller I believe, and its limited to 2s. Think they all have butter diff gears.
I picked this one up about a month ago. Been having a lot of fun. Recommend for the price but you’re 100% correct , this platform is starting to get played out. I could probably name 10 different cars or buggy’s that use this platform. Awesome video, bout to watch it again. Thanks bro

I got this model and out of the box it struggles to register reverse. I have to press reverse like 5 times before it goes in reverse. Anyone know how to fix that?? My first rc car
Occasionally I’ll get a car that does that. Some cars won’t go to reverse until it’s completely stopped. I’m not real sure of the answer on that. Sometimes even higher end motor combos do that to me.
Can anybody help me with what's going on I just got this car off Amazon the H16E as soon as I put it on it drives perfectly fine with the transmitter on 70% but as soon as it switches to 100 you cannot give it full throttle or it cuts out after about 1 second it launches to take off and then just cuts right out anybody else experiencing this? Customer support wasn't much help
Well that could be a battery issue or an esc issue. Usually Deerc has top notch service. Reach out to them directly if you didn’t already. You can usually even send the main Deerc Facebook page a private message about it.
@@DerbyCityRC yeah I think you might be right man I if I charge the battery to full then it will work on the 100% for about 10 minutes and then all of a sudden it will cut out when I try to pull the trigger full throttle but then I can switch down to 70% and the car will still run for another 10 minutes that's the weirdest thing about it you would think if the battery was dead it wouldn't run on either setting I am waiting on a few batteries right now because I didn't have any good LiPo batteries, so once I got one of those I will charge it and see if that changes anything. Thank you for replying though I really appreciate it
Mine would stop working in wet grass and through puddles, but I just watched them drench it with the hose with no body on. So I'm not sure anymore. I'd like an answer as well. Maybe just for cleaning with battery removed it's ok?
I agree totally about the handling as even though I am not a great driver it makes it look like I am blind man driving. Got for my daughter but she prefers my Ftx appache as she says it's easier to drive while I have to constantly run over to put the 16208 back on its wheels. If running off-road it just bounces and is like controlling a pogo stick.
Hmmm. I’m not completely up on all the Deerc versions, but some of the hypergos had bad gears. The newer model that’s 14210 or something should have better ones.
Pretty neat. I'm not really interested in the big wheel trucks but your content is enjoyable. The more I'm learning about what motors are used in the different cars and scales makes me realize 6000kv in 1/18 scale 2wd is insane. Very happy with my little dirt missile, just not so much with customer service. Not sure why they couldn't just mail me out a 50 cent part. Maybe because the whole assembly costs $20 and that's all they sell.
@@DerbyCityRC I'd stick with the MJX.. they are tougher, bigger, come with spare parts and cheaper. Honestly regretting it now and yeah, the /18 scale thing has it's pros and cons, but it feels like I paid mostly for a name brand and not quality.
I really like these cars, I have two of them now. One I strickly run on 3s, I have the better diffs and other gears in (still never broke a diff). One I use only 2s on and just have the spare diffs from the 3s one in case they ever break. I have broken both rear body mount things on them and one rear shock tower. Also broke one front steering knuckle, and tore a tire lol. Still great fun lol, I send them into the trees.
They have not fixed the fan problem yet on these models, on the 16207 it has been relocated to the side of the motor instead of halfway on top of it, so the fan will not get smashed to bits immediately when the car lands hard on its roof.
Woops sorry lol Why not the 14209? That one was good for on road and off road and probably one I wouldn’t want to jump high too often. My favorite HyperGo so far. I do prefer the 16208 over the h16 I think. I also just received the 14210 I’m going out to start recording right now.
I got mine his week and i am very happy with it. Like you said its lower than others but i like the speed and handling. The customer service pf Deerc is great.
I've had a hyper go for over 6 months I beat the hell out of it and I've had no issues so I'm guessing the deerc is just a cheap knockoff of hypergo there is no comparison if you ask me just my opinion

I'm looking for a rc that could handle the grass really well so the dog could run after it when I don't feel like walking him. ( yea I know i'm lazy like that) Any suggestion? I was thinking of the MT10, then I stumble on the new rlaarlo that seems to handle grass too. Now im lost. Help please

Yes these have a separate reciever so you can replace that and the remote and it will work.

I got one of these H16Es, took it to the skate park and it was broken in two places within an hour.
An hour at the skate park is pretty good lol one of the toughest places for an RC car.

I tried to clean mine, the axels rusted within 5 mins after being dried, and it sounded 2x louder to drive... swapped it out for a new one.
I would dub this one a semi-racing stadium type truck instead of an all round basher like the HBX ...

Which 1/18 scale is it? Some brands have better customer service than others for sure.
