Hey Carl, sorry about the oversight there with camera placement! The "Activate..." button you're looking for isn't strictly on the RealFlight screen, but can be accessed from any window within Steam. In the top lefthand corner you should see options including "View," "Friends," "Games," and "Help," no matter what is currently displayed in your Steam client. Click on the "Games" option and you'll see a dropdown. The second option in that dropdown window is "Activate a Product on Steam..." - that's what you'll want to click. After a power failure my DX6 will no longer bind to the dongle. I tried removing and replacing the dongle, rebooting the computer but nothing seems to work. Any ideas?
Hi. Nice tutorial mate. I have installed the simulator today. After installation I didnt get any UPDATE window that prompts me to do an update. That means my simulator is up to date? Below the green PLAY button there a re a bunch of updates, going back to time. latest is V10.10.078 dated 17 november 2023. Dont know my simulators version(purchased a week ago from aerobertics). Should I go for any of the updates below? In case of updates, the latest update includes all data from previous updates or should I go from the very first (that will be a pain in the butt). Thanks
I have done all that. That is the easy part. Now I need a TH-cam video about how to change the switches on my transmitter (NX8) for flaps, expo, and mode. I have not been able to figure out how to do this. Could you do this please? I have been unable to figure out how to move the mode or flaps to a different switch. I mean which takes priority, the setup on the transmitter or the Realflight program? It is confusing and I can find no help. I have 3 different planes programmed into my transmitter so I know the basics, but this problem is making realflight evolution unusable with the NX8.
Hey Tad! This is a good thought. We were considering doing another video on more detailed stuff in realflight. We’ll see if we can make that happen soon!
@@NankinHobbysame here. I want to use my rate and expo settings, plus the safe, intermediate and advanced modes my plane offers in the simulator and progress through the training before flying. I’m patient- have timber x ready to fly for a while now, but want to learn on RealFlight before I ever launch the real plane. Thanks!

Great video, but i am having problems, I get all the way and bind successfully but when i press play, it just takes me to a jet sat on a runway, there is no way i can open the page with all the different models on it, plus when the runway image opens up, there is no little pic of my radio in the bottom right hand side, (I have the Spektrum DX9) also i can power up on my radio but nothing happens on the jet on the runway. ????

I can't get thrust reverse or the gear to work please help set up the transmitter

Hello, the Spektrun NX6,8 ,10 Transmitters are compatiple with RealFlight Evolution sofrware so you don't need to buy the dongle.

Yes this would be great I figured out how to change the switches for everything but safe and how to reset the plane from the controller
