  • Goldilocks and the Three Bears
In a forest so deep, with tall, tall trees,
Lived three brown bears, living life with ease.
One morning they left, porridge too hot,
In came Goldilocks, a curious little tot.
She tasted their porridge, just one, two, three,
Too hot, too cold, then "perfect for me!"
She sat in their chairs, broke the smallest of all,
Then she went upstairs, needing sleep to call.
Too hard, too soft, then "just right!"
She fell fast asleep in broad daylight.
The bears came home, saw the mess she'd made,
Goldilocks woke up, and oh, was she afraid!
She ran out the door, as fast as could be,
And the bears lived in peace, in their house by the tree.
    The Three Little Pigs
Three little pigs set out one day,
To build their homes and keep wolves away.
The first built with straw, light and quick,
But the wolf huffed and puffed, blew it down like a trick.
The second used sticks, stronger but thin,
Yet the wolf came along with a terrible grin.
He huffed and he puffed, and once again,
The house fell apart, much to the pigs' chagrin.
The third little pig was clever and wise,
He built with bricks, strong and no surprise.
The wolf huffed and puffed with all his might,
But the house stood firm, not a brick in sight!
The pigs all cheered, safe and sound,
In their sturdy brick house, wolf nowhere around.
