I lived in the projects for awhile and I did the same, kept to my self, I moved from there to an apartment, then to a big house. I also homeschooled my sons, all as a single mom. Where you are is not your end. You will continue to grow and be successful. Much love to you and thanks for sharing. ❤

🧡🧡🧡 sis you did well because I'm 57 and I wasted 10 years of my life with a functioning addict and I take accountability because within 4 months I new he had a problem and I didn't let go so lesson learned but we have to set boundaries and stand on them! Blessings on your future endeavors

I am single mom .. lived in projects .. became LPN . Then RN .. now travel nurse , both my kids are accomplished now (in their 20s)and by the grace of God are doing wonderful . I put God first and lost a lot of friends .
You will see the fruit … keep it up.. and again please ignore the negative trolls . You are really doing amazing . I won’t say it was easy but I can see how putting God first really changed my life and impacted my kids.

Thank you for sharing your story, it is an authentic example of growth 🧡. Much respect for how you addressed the hateful comments, it's never about the receiver. I love how you have to correct yourself from speaking of your current situation in the past tense, i.e. "when I got that apartment". From here it looks like she has evolved, wise in the knowledge that it's not a destination but a journey.

But where I live here in Baltimore, some of my neighbors rent out their single family homes and townhomes but they do it through Section 8 housing. Really nice homes in nice communities. Is Section 8 an option for you and does your area have homes for rent that qualify for Section 8?

Greetings Queen so sorry you went through that you and me have similar stories, I'm still homeschooling my children almost 4 yrs, I was pregnant when I left Atlanta with my youngest child, I dislocated my left knee, and also had a head on car crash my doctor's want me to do surgery on my knee I'm terrified to get the surgery. I went to physical therapy.All Praises Due TMH you recovered Goddess I feel you I love your authenticity keep going ignore the negative energy, I overstand, I went through hell last yr with someone I left him and got mental therapy. I had to move into public housing. I live in Atlanta n rent is so high here. Plus everyone wants you to make 3x the rent when the usual rent just for a one bedroom is $1000- just image what three bedrooms are running. Hopefully I can buy a house in another year. Have u thought about going to school for another career to fall back on?
