Side bar points high? How to get them lower & my chat with customer service about it!

- Side bar event points getting out of control? Do you feel like you can’t even come close to competing?
I feel like that!
Especially when someone racks up 87k points in the first 16-17 minutes after it resets. It’s virtually impossible (and this is coming from an APM player!)
Yes, these numbers are possible in a couple of hours (with APM or if you have a bunch of dice and want to blow through a bunch of dice). Not in the first few minutes.
So I did the math and the “math doesn’t math right”, lol. It just doesn’t seem feasible so I wanted to see if customer service had an answer to make it make sense.
Surprise surprise, they didn’t really.
What I find really suspicious is the one customer service representative saying that “certain players might have the High Roller events available more frequently”…how is that? Everyone should have the same amount available to them/available to earn. Am I interpreting this message wrong? It wouldn’t be fair if “certain” players have them while others don’t (and I don’t mean they earn them when others don’t play enough to earn them).
🔆 Anyhow, there’s a way to work your way back into lower side bar event brackets and if you’re interested in that info, head to about the 10:00 minute mark and watch.

I couldn’t agree more with you! I am in the exact same position. First place position after the game first opens up is well over 150,000 points. I use high roller once in a while just to gain a little bit of traction in the game but I do play every single day and I have been doing so consistently for about 16 months now. So I am on a higher level, but I can’t come anywhere close to what they do on the side bar and I haven’t won anything on the side bar in at least six months. I don’t even try anymore. I like your suggestion and I am willing to give it a go because I hate the racer game as well. And Monopoly go are just a bunch of liars when they say things are random. If you play airplane mode at all even once in a while, you know that is absolutely not true. Thank you for your information and your insight on this problem. Keep on doing what you’re doing. long time listener, first time caller - I inadvertently moved into a more favorable tournament cohort after I played very little during a trip where I had less than stellar wi-fi available. So, just as you mentioned, I was pretty much only squeaking through the daily quick wins - upon my return home, I was ultra-surprised to see that I had been grouped in with a "reasonable" tournament group and for the first time in a lonnnnnng time I was able to take first place and hold it. That only lasted for one tournament and the very next one I was grouped with the "no way are these numbers realistic" crowd again and wallowing back at position 95, lol.
Very good video and great advice. It is annoying that they give predetermined answers kinda like the predetermined rolls. There is nothing random about this game in any way. We are all numbers in their system and they track each and every one knowing how much we have, how much play, how much we pay (if you do). Your advice to limit your play when you get stuck in groups like that is perfect. Do dailies to never lose the 6 pack rewards and virtually nothing else for how ever long it takes to be removed and put back in a more fair play group.
The sidebar numbers have gotten out of control! You are right, the math is not mathing. I play apm and I end up somewhere between 60th and 80th place every day. I only did quick wins for an entire week and then attempted to play and got 99th place.😂 The week after that I was only doing quick wins again but forgot to do them one day and then by the end of the full second week I miraculously was in a good bracket for one day and then I’ve been in the 80s ever since

Yes you right. I was a apm one before they patched it. I see how its done now but now i just fall back. Play different. I see your videos. The only thing they in it for is the money. Trying to keep it coming in. I get extremely lucky at times on side bar and come in 1st or come in range 1-10. But any way keep us update and i will alway follow and watch and like your videos.
I started to do APM just how you have been for a week now and I admit one tournament I reached 80K points and came 17th and first place had around 300K. Ever since I’ve started a new tournament and 2 minutes after someone would have 80K pretty much instantly. The past week I have been reaching the 10-12/40 rewards for the sidebar event, so reaching around 8K points in total but still haven’t had any luck in the other players points decreasing. It’s so frustrating knowing that I’ll never be able to win against them and I have also contacted customer service on multiple occasions which didn’t change or help with anything.
@@d3fuz318 I’ve leaned that the dude bar events aren’t nearly as important as the top bar event and the other in-game events like the Partner events or digging events.
I don’t see them making much of a change in the side bar issue.
@@shawna01515 you’re definitely right the only thing about the side bar event I care about is getting the one off shield that appears if you place like top 5, the emotes I don’t really care about. I enjoy watching your videos though, a new sub from and and my other account :)
Thanks for the update. You’re lucky my side bar is 200,000 or more every event but either way you can’t neither one of us get a top 10 with them putting numbers up like that and everybody knows they’re cheating so thank you for breaking it down for the customer service. They always busted everybody for cheating. They need to get the ones using the computers is really hacking the game. Thanks for all your hard work and time you put into making these videos for us.
What about the fact that no one playing normally is going to keep racking up those points when there are no prizes left to win?
For sure. I openly admit that I use APM sometimes, but I stop competing pretty early on if it’s so out of my league like this.
i understand you shawna and im literally pissed every daily event, to the point i stopped participating i mean obivously, i am APM user too and its so frustrating that you'll only find joy using only APM while playing the game and have a high roller, i kindly suggest to you that only play when you have a chance or you know you have a high roller while using APM you'll be able to chance the gifts and have a dice back, i've been doing that almost a month now i have 5k dice last last month and now i have 21k dice playing like this, its so annoying

I spent the last 4 months intentionally getting last place and didn't start getting low lobbies until a week ago. They're full of it

You're right. For their team, this explanation doesn't make complacen. I have the same problem. 169k 369k 289k, monopoly has been scaming our dices, especially in high roller. I lost a lot of dices.
@@catto4116 I had 10min straight of a high roller boost yesterday and didn’t land on a railroad once during that 10min. About 15min after my HR boost was done, I hit a RR 4 times in a row. No one can tell me that’s just “chance” …
@@shawna01515 I think they are monitoring all the players, and the rewards are much less than before. We can hardly complete the event，and the game is no longer fun anymore 😢
I agree the side bars are crazy and didn’t even realize there was cheating apps. I kind of do something similar between events where my main goal is quick wins and getting to the blue pack on the side bar. With the new updates getting to it is around 5400 points and after I get that I stop playing and try hard to not have anything built on my board because I don’t want to have to keep checking in. When I’m done I’m done. Lol
I noticed that just doing that in between events the highest score is around 47k. Still high but not so bad and I can somewhat place. But after the dig and trying to collect all of the pick axes it is back at 100k+. So it did work for me, but I do make sure to get the blue pack and then stop.
I completely agree with you. I'm only at levels in the 160 range and I've been seeing 80,000+, points on the side bar events. On the side bar events I have only got to maybe level 10 on the side. One time I got to level 3 in an evening and then the next day I was down to 30 or 40. Then couldn't get above 30.
Everything you say is correct I also apm and have not been able to place in the top 10 in at least two months or longer … and yes it does take time and patience I barely stay above 10k dice now 😞
Hi Shawna. Your video got me thinking if, in actual fact, the rocket user is a bot run by Scopely themselves. Why? The only thing I can think of is to keep people off the top spot. It would prevent the top dice win, but let's face it, those scores suggest far more dice are spent than rewarded.
So I look at the next coveted prize in the top slot, which I noticed recently that the top player wins a purple card pack.
This is just my thoughts on the whole process. The only genuine chance part in the game.e is the chance they can get more money out of you... don't get me started on that subject... great video. Thanks.
@@mongolianmystic I agree. I could see them using a bot so that if someone really wants that purple pack or the dice, they’ll use more dice and possibly pay money to earn it. People get desperate, especially for stickers to complete their albums.
They used to offer purple packs to the top 3-5 people at one point too. Now it’s just 1 person.
I can assure you it's real people. One of the apps she lightly refers to for cheating has a feature called "stack shutdown." This feature let's you skip every shut down, then restart the app and turn off the feature once you've done plenty or finished top bar or at reset. They have to make sure their next roll is on RR. Once they load the game back up with the feature off it displays a crazy high multiplier to have points match all previous missed shut downs with each getting the same win. Obviously they're also going to target someone they know without shields to get the most points.
Key part of that is that they load the game back up after the reset. So all those missed points add up plus more from the current reset event.
Honestly there is low value for people that play the app to even bother with ranking the side bar. People that do this just like to show off and brag. People that use modded apps already get enough stickers and building dice regularly just by playing. 1500 dice isn't much to them and after a while that 1500 turns to 850 top ranking.
It gets worse during partner events as well whether the racers or build. Because even after completing the top and side there is still a need to pickup event tokens. Then there's also times when it's Lucky Chance. Their focus is the free spins profiting more dice from free spins landing on shield, jail, or another chance that produces dice or simply landing on the dice that has a much larger max than typical chance.
@ well said. 👏🏻 I’m not going to promote or give out the app or program names on my channel. I don’t really agree with using them and it’s a pretty surefire way to get banned eventually, but it’s a choice for those who use them.
@shawna01515 I wouldn't mind. Purely for scientific reasons, of course. Never had more than 18k in dice.

Told them and showed them the exact same thing almost 8 months ago still haven't gotten any higher than 40th place in a side bar. Their support and development staff are pathetic.
My theory is they have people over a certain amount of dice in a separate APM bracket
I did one of these reports the other night got the same answer I'm new to the game on only 3500 net worth and I'm getting matched against ppl with 40k net worth and going from under 5k pts to 70k pts in 10-20mins I was so pissed bc it happened right at the end of the event and dropped me from the 2500 dice to 1500 dice and purple to blue pack rewards.

i've been doing this for ages, I don't play Peg-E event, just do dailies. When I play again I have been dropped down a league or 2 and i can win pink or blue sticker pack for about 8k

I think you forgot about tycoon Club, you can buy high roller for like 10-20 bucks. If they are pay to win players its possible

@shawna01515 We all know the game is "rigged". We need to use that in our favor. Like when we get 6-8 shutdowns in a row, there are times we can get up to 5 Heist in a row as well. We just need to determine when it happens, then use Mega heist and high roller. 12-16k for bankruptcy per train station, 5 times, now we are already at 60k minimum. We cancel all the animations and so we can do all that in under 3 min. The question now is, how do they get this cycle more than 1 time in a row 🤔
I usually reset my tournament when it reaches over 40k points. Get it back to 2k for a win and win a couple of times until I reach 40k score again

I noticed if you don't play alot you will lowered into easy side bar rankings. Takes a couple of days but it's worth it.
I have that exact same response from them complaining of a different issue.
If you think any part of this game not rigged you’re delusional. Scopely cares about one thing. MONEY and how they can separate you from it.
When I click on the side and see I have no chance I do just a bit of them and no longer try...All the earn stuff has gotten ridiculous hard because I can't compete with how fast and unreachable the points have gotten. I use to play more than I now do because I can't complete or compete anymore.Just plug along trying to complete boards...

I just hit shutdown in high multiplier when I started playing for the game, for this new top and side bar event. then I checked the top rank is 8k, then 5 min later after the HR ended, I earned 12k from MH with HR (first time ever), I checked the ranking again, the first place is suddenly 45k….. 5 min, HR timed it for me. insane

I recommend you not to bother with tournaments. You’ll get paired with people getting over 100k and it’s impossible. Also, what are you playing the tournament for, a purple pack? You’re guaranteed TWO purple packs by completing the middle event. I do APM for that.
@@AvocadoTheBugCat the top bar event is SO much more important, but even the dice at the end for the final prize has gone WAY down. I swear I remember it being like 7-8k before and now it’s 2,500-3k??
@@shawna01515 before the current album was 9k points for 8k🎲 for both the 4 corners n tax n utility tab which is x4.. and 7500🎲for 8400 points for both pick up n shut down and bank heist x2
I used 4k dice at x50 and land on less than 10 railroad and less than 5 corners was a massive waste of dice i want to know why a person with 300 tycoon got pared with someone with 8k tycoon points
I agree with all you said. Still, I don't care. I don't need to win tournaments to achieve my ultimate goal; to complete the album. I feel the same with the APM users too. As long as I can complete the albums, I don't care about winning the tournaments.
@@gravyjohnson the side bar event has become fairly useless and a bit of a dice eater over the last year. The top bar event and the events like the digging event and partner events are key for rewards!
@shawna01515 certainly agree! The gameplay of others doesn't affect all you mentioned. So with the help of my family and friends, I complete albums.
@ trading stickers is probably the most effective way to get ahead in the game! (Even better if it’s friends/family who help and don’t need to trade). You have to have stickers to trade though, so you still have to play decently to earn some

Was on a 50th place last side bar. Not playing much. Just doing morning quick wins. Low on dice, hoping for decent packs during top and side bars as they restart. Current juggler event is pretty bad. Pic of first offer
Is fair i think, cus that is how other people feel when some use airplane mode and cant win the side bars also
They're either exploiting or throwing tons of money into the game. I haven't seen numbers that big yet my tournaments are still somewhat manageable with points no higher than 8k but still that happens within the first 10 minutes of a new event.
I have seen in reddit where they admitted to using bots. Seeing them gaslighting you like this is absolutely hilarious.
I mean it's obvious they have bots. Your first bank heist and your first landmark are always the exact same player. LOL
Wouldn’t surprise me if lots of these bot accounts are actually Monopoly themselves with the soul purpose of making people buy more dice to compete.
Seen this more often lately. I reached out about the last racers event and the Rocket booster appearing, then disappearing when finishing laps. It took 5 different reps before getting an email about it being chance. What? I will not play race event if they continue w Rocket booster. Showing it as a prize and not getting it. Affects strategy. All three races, second lap event i saw it and only got it once. Last race completing 5 laps, again it showed as a prize and didn't get it. So no more.

@@Demetriousd so I thought I read once that the rocket booster was sometimes for “everyone”/the team. So it helped “the team” as a team booster when one team member got it and used it, not for each person to use it once. So once one person used it for “the team”, it went away for everyone else. I thought that was weird.
The fact that you are in tourneys with 100 players means they suspect u of cheating and are watching your account. The same happened to me and when I complained I got put back into reg 50 person tourneys and started winning again.

The tournament that just ended first place scored 355k points while second scored 145k. No one in their right mind would want to score 200k+ points without cheating. I see these people all the time on TikTok using the programs to play the game at turbo speeds that’s how they score so many points so fast. I’m just tired of every single tournament with these cheaters

Thats easy. Pay Apps with predicted rolls. My SIDE events always have 200k or more.
lets face it ,, the game is just so rigged ,, on the peg game , the times it goes down the edge shoot ,, its not random , rigged all day long .

I was first place at 9000 points and second place was 3300. In less than 2 mins, I was in 22nd place. First place is 97k points. How is that possible. My net worth is below 6000. When I click on the 1st place opponent, their net worth is 62k! I have no chance of coming first.
Their customer service is useless, they usually just select templates that don't address your concerns. There are definitely a mix of Scopely bots and cheaters that score these high counts. Obviously they don't mind the former but they don't like the latter and will ban them. Every once in a while I see someone at the top of the global net worth list who then disappears - pretty sure those are the cheaters Scopely refers to in their messages here.
Recently I’ve placed in a ranking table with at least 80k at ranked 8 to 160k ranked 1st.. and that’s is impossible to reach.. even with a max hr of 15 minutes .. I can only hit a bank heist n shut down at least twice only.. unless got a bank heist with x2..
@@Kelvinseah80 exactly! I’ve played with consecutive HR boosts at x1000 for 15 straight min and couldn’t get to those numbers! It’s completely possible over an hour or 2 of play, but not in 16-17min!
@@shawna01515 I just started playing with a 10 minutes hr.. and the sidebar is so outrageous..from current rank 24 with 10k points all the way to the top with 74k points.. that’s really crazy..
I love the random generator comment. Everyone knows that the entire game is predetermined yet they refuse to admit it.

I do find if you don't play in the train after you have won on the train I have been placed in low ranking trains. I wish I could still do airplane mode. And I wish they wouldn't have did all the predetermined dice. Impossible for people to play! There's nochance, they are such greedy people.
Ok easy fix you have to not put up big numbers yourself. Put up small numbers for a week. Let off the game for a week and you will be out in a lower category so you can compete. Don’t use the airplane mode.

Mogo are the fixers Shawna, and they use the bots to get us to spend money. I hardly play now and I get put with people set at 2000 on the side bar... I still never make the top 25 players tbh. The game is pushing people out unless you pay to play. APM is terrible now also. Good luck
Customer service is useless. They don't play fair why should anybody else. They know those players are bots
Ok so I just going to say it. I also have gotten myself into same situation on the sides. I accept it as it is what it is. I do appreciate your content as it has taught me the means to be able to consistently play and be able to complete partner events, without being forced to drop a ton of money to do so. I consider sacrificing the sides, and completing tops and partner events as a fair trade off. However you openly promote and brag about cheating, and then want to cry about being out cheated. Pretty hypocritical. Sorry just gotta point it out.

I agree and pointed out the hypocrisy myself in the video. However, I don’t brag. I am open and honest about using APM. I also don’t use it every day or every time I play. I’ll go a week or 2 sometimes without using APM to play. It’s usually just during partner events or digging events (or if I’m making new content about APM). Does the frequency of using APM make me less of a cheater than someone who does it every day? No. I still cheat the game and don’t lie about it.
This channel’s flagship video was one about APM so I also have to keep up that same content when APM changes for those who followed for that reason, which means I myself need to stay on top of how APM changes. It’s business.
With that being said, if the game is going to be so rigged, unfair, and predetermined like it is, APM levels the playing field without spending money, while still allowing you to actually play the game.
It’s the difference between putting in the work to write cheat codes on your hand for a test….you have to find the answers, you read the answers, you write the answers, you may even learn along the way vs having an earpiece in and someone giving you the answers without any of the work and effort. I’m a little old-school and expect cheating to require some effort. Just my useless opinion.
