Probably one of the best tilling how to videos out there…..could’ve covered mixing up the adhesive but the consistency is clear to see in the video…. Maybe you’ve covered it before previously?

Great. Do you have any examples of how you set inside corner tiles?

I do find that applying tile adhesive to dry plasterboard a bit of a disaster. It generally sucks the moisture out of the adhesive too fast. Watered down PVA beforehand on the plasterboard can really help.

You shouldn't use pva for anything with tiles nowadays. Acrylic primer or sbr is a much better choice. Agree regarding stopping the moisture being drawn out though.

@@yeoGlover Sure you're right! I'm just your average DIYer who's moved house a few times of the years. Whenever I'm tiling again, I'll remember your suggestions.👍

The tiler who has to repair an area down the road will curse you for not applying a drywall primer. What could be a simple pop off must now tear the paper off while removing.

Half of the size of the original tile before its been cut ,your tile size divide into 2 .

That's not "how to tile a wall"... where's the grouting bit? How do you keep the tiles all level with each other on the front face?

So disappointed with tilers nowadays. No care and they always blame the tiles. Can't really call them tilers, just chancers. Have to do it myself.

I come across many builders who are rubbish! I booked myself a tiling and plumbing course and NEVER looked at any builder since then......I am glad I am statisfied with my work rather than shoddy builders....

It's because anyone can get into it. The price most decent tilers have to charge just to get work until they build up a reputation isn't worth the sacrifice. It's hard work, hard on the body and lots of running around pricing, picking up gear etc. Also bad prep work by plumbers, builders etc. On top of that the quality of tiles IS terrible most of the time.
