You know you got a sweet rig when the construction workers have to look back at it!! Nice rig
Yes sir! Thank you I really appreciate that!
Heck of a good ole truck. Love them ole Louisville Fords.
So many people make it all about themselves, but when a guy like you doesn't do that then yeah, we want to know your story & for us older guy's we remember the struggles & want you to succeed, you're the real deal, no bull shit, keep it up
I really appreciate that! Thank you that means a lot!!!
The way you remain calm in the aggravating traffic situation is truly a great example I think I need to take a few notes
The trick is to let it out as it happens. No accumulations. Otherwise you'll just go crazy
A whole different world early in the morning.
Most definitely!!!!
Man I love the sound of that old truck. I’m jealous
I love it too! And sorry to make you jealous lol I'm glad we can enjoy it together through the video!
Seeing you run hard through the city was awesome. I always love waking up the neighbors showing them who’s boss hahaha
Hahahaha you and I both! And thank you I have fun sometimes hahaha
@@Only4Trucks I’m glad I’m not the only one who thinks that way. Take care man keep the videos coming
@@danokerr9929 lol I will do my best!
Hey Joe. Nice to know your name haha. Thanks for sharing your life with us. It is definitely a new perspective to see old trucks still on the road. In my opinion, feel free to share as much as you want, but don't feel obligated. Just keep it fun for you haha. I feel we all have fun watching your videos. Keep up the good work!
Hahaha I appreciate that! That's awesome and I'm glad your watching and enjoying! I will for sure and I will do my best! Thank you so much
I got my permit for a auto articulated license in NJ when I was 24. I'd been driving 6 wheelers since I was 18. The guy I learned from had a license from the Navy. Never drove off the base. I'm 62 now. 38 years. I'm sure it's a great story.
Mic is perfect. In-cab sounds of the engine and awesome shifting is why ì keep coming back.
Thank you! I really appreciate that! Those things will never change so hopefully you never leave!
I'm liking the two views at once !
Thank you! I really appreciate that! I'm glad you like it and I'm really grateful for you to give me that feedback!

@@Only4Trucks thank you, I get to be in a truck again
I see that bad boy rides like a Cadillac. I like it. Keeps you awake. Where i live people seem to think blinkers are optional.
Most definitely and hahaha I can relate man people suck lol
Drove a Louisville Ford when I started Line Haul in 1978. I like yours & the single sleeper brings back memories. Love the bumper turn lites last episode, and the split vision camera work is innovative. And...we learned your name! lol Good Luck Joe.
Thanks for putting us on video, i was one of the guys escorting you in. Nice to have a driver that can can do forward and backwards. Keep up the great work.
I am so happy to see a comment from you guys! I really appreciate that and really hope to get to deliver another load to you guys! Thank you guys for being so cool and giving me an easy unload! Glad you guys were willing to let me film. Some people give me a hard time! You are good guys in my book!
Just found your channel. Love these old trucks. I travel to the Philly Navy Yard often for work. Love that town. Love watching you drive those monsters through the city. Thank you!
Intro is epic.
Thank you!!!
Your intro is spot on 👌🏻
3 cameras at once Mind blown too much to watch Hat cam 👌🏻 nice to see your perspective
Thank you! And I was afraid of that too with the 3 angles I just wanted to try it and see but I don't think I will do much more of it if any at all. And I agree I will try more of that camera angle!
@@Only4Trucks can’t fault you for trying new angles and extra cameras
It’s just my opinion about 3 to watch.
Still new to your channel but enjoying your content
@@Rav_4_Guy I couldn't agree more I appreciate your input that's what will help me make the videos the best they can be! I'm glad your enjoying the videos!
I'm loving the camera angles and the exhaust
Thank you for watching, im glad your enjoying them!
Joe, the multi camera angles are really cool in Philly. It’s cool to see the tight turns with traffic.
I really appreciate that! I have a NYC video coming up that will bring a lot of those tight turns with the worst of traffic!
Camera angle at 30:07 is the one u should use like a pov thing head mount is always good so we c what u c and i can c you shifting so i think do a head mound and a foot camers would be good 👍 ❤😊
I agree 100% and I will be doing more of the foot camera as well! Thank you for the feedback I need it!!!! I know you love the sweet feet! I'll put some extra in there just for you! I see the Jamaican flag I know how you guys get down over there and I absolutely love it!
Your videos capture what it's all about. I too am a truck nut. I got my cdl before they were cdl's. 1971 on a B61 with a quad box. I drove for a lot of years, owned my own (piece of crap freightliner) and ended up being a sales manager at an international dealership. I still have my CDL A at 74 years old and drive part time for a Pete dealership. Oh convoy truck Mack RS700L. We hit the gate going 98.
Thanks
That means so much to me! Especially knowing your 74 years old and I can interest you is so cool! It's guys like you that made trucking cool to me! I hope to own a b61 one day! Luckily I've driven a couple! And we said let them truckers roll 10-4!
Awesome video👍👍👍

Ya hit the mark wit the mic brotha, it sounds much better. whatever ya doing stick wit that. I would love to hear about those backstories and all that I love hearing stuff like that. Thank you! I really appreciate that! And man your the first comment about hearing the back story and I really appreciate that! Glad to hear your old school as well!!! And I agree the TRI state sucks! But yea man you do the same thank you!
What's up driver aka Joe. Got to love all those stupid 4 wheelers and how they drive. Great video the old Ford sure knows how to keep on trucking. Joe love the old school trucks especially the mack and your videos are pretty cool as well

Nice sounding Detroit. It would really sound good with a Jake brake
It's a big cam Cummins but I wish it had a Jake brake
I had just stumbled across your channel as I fallow fsc, gentry and Chad kegan so I miss the episode reveling what kinda motor you are running. Sorry bout that
It sure sounds like a Detroit lol
@@coreyp2776 I'm glad you found my channel! I watch those guys as well! No problem at all, it does have a very unique sound to it. There is a 351 Peterbilt on my channel with a Detroit and there will be much much more of that truck so that will be a great sound for you to enjoy lol glad to have you watching!
Where is the Mack?.
Always a pleasure 👍🏽
Still on jack stands, there will be an update video soon! Thank you!!!
Very cool drop , but did I hear valve ticking as you were leaving getting back on the highway? The headset works great and can hear you and the exhaust fine. Can't hear you when camera is on the mirror frame though. . . . . . .Can't wait for the next segment coming up.
I really appreciate that! The truck does have an exhaust leak, and the compressor can be very noisy at times so it could be either of those you heard.
I hope You guys buy a cabover some day...a mack cruice liner or an MH, My favorites💪😁
There will be an MH on the channel real soon!!!!!!!

Love watching your videos, makes me want to start documenting my drops, I deliver rebar down here in hill country texas. though out truck isn’t as nice as yours it does have a nice sounding Detroit in her. Keep it up man
That's awesome, you should man I really enjoy making the videos. And thank you I appreciate that, I would enjoy hearing yours! And I'll do my best
Personally I like the head mount, but other people say it bothers them because the fast movement... but I live the head mount mainly because you can see sorta everything that is actually happening.
I agree 100% I actually just filmed a video with the head mount so we will see how it comes out 🤷 lol
This video is almost perfect right now. Nice angles, great audio (although the mic is only the right channel. But you can probably make it in the video editing program to be on both channels.) I haven't been able to watch the later videos, but so far, I really like what you do. Would be interesting to hear some stories, and know more about your love of trucks.
I really appreciate that! Definitely still working out the mic issues but we will get there! And I really appreciate everything and I'm glad your enjoying. Im excited to tell you some stories and plenty of my love for trucks!
awesome bro by the way the mic sounds good but sounds only at the Right speaker not both
Thank you! And I'll continue dialing in the audio!
One of the nicest looking Ford 9000 I’ve seen. I drove most of the major brands of trucks back in the day. Learned on a twin stick 5&4, 6/53 NA Detroit.
What engine are you running? Detroit?
No way I live in nepa. Also work on the highway so might run into each other on a job site someday. Probably the fifth or sixth video I’ve watched. Sick trucks great videos
That would be awesome! I greatly appreciate you watching!
Joe I was wondering what the length was on that load
Loving the channel and all the old trucks! So glad I found it. Your series on picking up the Mack brought me here! My question is do you think you could make a video on shifting and your techniques? I just got my cdl recently and work at a place that has old trucks as well. Of course school teaches you to double clutch but these old trucks have only ever been floated and im still trying to get the hang of it. Especially downshifting lol. Your shifting is excellent!
Keep up the great videos! Thanks!
I am glad you found it to! And that's awesome man, I tried to really showcase my outlook on that trip on those videos. And thank you for the compliment! I will most definitely be putting out a how to shift video or at least a rundown of how I shift! I hope I can teach you a few tricks to help you get it down!
@Only4Trucks Thanks! I will definitely be on the lookout for it! Any tips and tricks I can learn will be fantastic. I know it takes a lot of practice to get that good, but hopefully I'll get the hang of it soon. At least enough to be proficient lol. Looking forward to more great videos. Thanks again!
@@tylerw.9305 For sure! I'll do my best to get all the info I can in the video! And thank you I'll do my best to keep the videos coming!
I would love to learn how to drive old school trucks
Hopefully I can cover the basics to get you started on my channel. I would love to do some teaching videos!
first truck i drove is the same ford ltl but black
That's awesome!
Love the Ford, was that the construction on I/84? Just drove through there Saturday.
It was! Right near lord's valley exit
what is the name of the mic you got that's clip on ur shirt?
What an awesome video my friend!!! I honestly enjoyed the incab perspective with windows down the most, the audio was just fantastic!! When do you plan to do the super long unedited ASMR’s I requested a while back? When you do them, please do the same exact angle and audio as in the incab perspective of this video, and don’t forget what I requested you to do. If you forget, here’s a quick refresher: begin the ASMR’s with engine startup, shift at high RPM’s, making sure sure to do plenty of runs through all gears up and down with cruising, etc. and end the ASMR’s with engine shutdown. Please don’t use any external mics, just the audio from your go-pro on your head, and windows down, so I can hear those exhaust sounds! Please do ASMR’s on all trucks, this one (Lacey), the 85 Mack, the 86 Ford LT9000, and the 89 Mack. Please make them well over 8 hours long with no edits, just completely raw action the whole way. Also, no intro or outro, just straight to the action. Please let me know ASAP, would be greatly appreciated!
Wow! For your determination and dedication I will be bring you one next week! And a few to follow!!! I really appreciate this comment and the previous. I'm sorry I got a bit caught up and did forget. But I will give you what your asking for! Thank you again I really appreciate the compliments and your interest! It really means a lot!
@@Only4Trucks you bet brother, I absolutely love your rigs!!! Looking forward to the ASMR’s coming, and I’d love it if you’d make ASMR’s part of your video repertoire going forward!! Please let me know.
@@GarbageSean I really appreciate that! And I will for sure!
@@Only4Trucks super!! Can’t wait brother!!!
Hey brother! Figured I'd check in. I assume you'll be uploading the first ASMR of the ASMR series tomorrow, right? You know how hyped I am for the ASMR videos coming! Please let me know, and I'm super excited for the ASMR's coming!!
they dont call Philly "The city of brotherly love" for no reason LOL. i feel yeah man. Chicago is just as bad. in my opinion you have solved the audio issue. and i think its great that you want to start letting the viewers in on your commentary. great job.
Hahaha so true man and thank you! I really appreciate that! And yes the viewers mean everything to me so I want to have you guys involved just as much as me!!! So excited for the channel to grow and keep implementing you guys everywhere possible! Wether it be giveaways, meet and greets, ride alongs, etc. Thank you for the comment!
the mic sounds great, i think i like the ford over the mack, its just something about the way it sounds plus the sound it makes when you flutter the pedal. keep it up joe, looking forward to more. do you only haul steel or are there other loads you do? do you work for the company or are you a family member of the guy who owns it, only asking because the way you refer to the truck and that you do all the work to fix them.
Thank you I appreciate that! And I do love the way the truck sounds too its just so unique! And we haul whatever we can. We haul equipment, crane parts, concrete forms, auction stuff and plenty more. Rebar has just been booming for us lately. And he's a good friend of mine and I work for him. We work together on everything, we do all different jobs so if he's doing construction work late then I'll do more work on the trucks. But the beauty of our relationship is it's all at my discretion. I can say no whenever I want. He doesn't force or expect any specific thing from me. So we have a great relationship and work well together
dude you are in my back yard
That's awesome! Maybe I'll see you one day!
Pretty neat every job site is different from building to bridge and road way construction. So that what it would look like if the highway was first time being made. everything stripped down to the gravel and put new everything. The hell the trailer doing? LoL
Awesome new shots and view keep on expending. Funny how you are talking when your are little. Yes when your little it was the best but when you start to get older thing change. Something you wish for the better but how thing been going it been going down hill along with some of the people brains on what they do. Its a little sad really.
I couldn't agree with you more and I love this comment. This is what I look forward to as far as what someone can get out of watching my videos! Thank you for watching and glad you enjoyed it!
@@Only4Trucks I will keep on watching since you have a lot to show for the work you do and as well the old truck you use and many other thing
@@JrFlexing909 I appreciate that!
Haven't been in NE Philly in about 40 years. Love the shots you have, and I miss home, but, like you said, everything has gone to hell in a hand basket.
Love the channel, good job.
Just curious, you have some crazy back up skills, why not use high range?
I really appreciate that! And 40 years sounds good to me forget this place hahahah and man that means a lot thank you! I appreciate the compliments on my backing up. The only reason I didn't go into high range here was the rough road. I prefer a smooth ride when possible lol. If it were a paved road with that long of a back up, I would have tossed her in neutral let the rpm's come down and slid her into high range hahahah we would be rolling then! It will happen soon!
Yah..great channel..curious ..you own your truck..what kinda maintenance you do..im like I prefer stick..right now I drive redimix company new mack..automatic..I like the old stick better!
I don't own my own truck, I work for a friend of mine and basically I do whatever maintenance Im willing lol. I've never worked on a truck engine or transmission but I could swap them if need be. But I'll do all regular maintenance and yes I prefer the old school sticks for sure lol
I don’t know if you’ve already answered but what’s that tapping/rattling noise that seems to be coming from that truck?
Your probably hearing the air compressor. It's been noisy like that since my friend bought it, once it reaches 120 and blows of it is quiet until it starts building again. It's strange but the previous owner told us it has been like that since new. He even rebuilt the compressor to be sure he said.
hey joe my name is joey and i drive a 2022 frightliner flat from camden nj i m a fan every day i drive in philly and up down 95 all over pa ny and nj i look to see i see you
That's so awesome man! I like your name too! Hopefully I can see you! I'm nice and local so if you ever spot me try to get my attention it would be my pleasure to meet you!
ok
I would know how you got started in trucking
I appreciate that! You will hear about it soon
Why do you goose the fuel pedal between shifts,I don’t get it
It keeps the rpm's up and allows the shift to be smoother and keep the torque of the engine loaded to where it doesn't jump the truck up and down. You would start by doing it with a smooth pedal motion but the goosing is a bit of showing off and also just having fun enjoying the sound
How long is the stretch flat deck trailer?
This one was stretched to around 60 foot or so I'm pretty sure
@@Only4Trucks Extra length for more inner-city fun! You do what can't be done! I don't think I'd even attempt it unless I was wheeling a shorty short frame daycab!
Yeah years ago I took off a guys bumper police said it was my fault but the guy I was driving for stood by me all the way the charge did not stick had it tossed out of court my boss had a really good well connected attorney
That's awesome!
