Jane, go see the Pyramids. A reputable tour company; handles all the arrangements, hotels, transportation, tickets, etc. We used Memphis Tours. The Egyptian people are some of the friendliest people. I know that the Middle East situation is not good right now, but Egypt thrives on tourism and they'd be thrilled for you to come. It's one of the best things I've ever done.
I wish it was possible, it’s not. I’m so allergic to most foods. I carry 2 epipens. I’m so happy with the traveling I did get in. I’ve been to Tokyo 5 times and London and a few other places.
Congratulations on being in remission, Jane! I know what you mean - It's been 25 years for me and I still don't call it 'cancer-free'. 💕 I used to keep 4-5 pens inked now I'm up to 16 at a time. Why the heck not.
@@emmaythegray thank you 💗 Congratulations 🍾 for the 25 years! Where I’m at, why not! I want 80 pens inked, l’ll do it. Decide I’m overwhelmed (I never was, since then I do), I’ll wash and put away X amount.
Hi Jane, that Full flex nib is 👌, I want it, too ☺️ Atm t don’t know exactly how many pens I have inked. They are all on one table but in different „places“. So I always think „that’s not too bad“ and then I find 6 more 😂 Congrats on remission! Know what you mean with the feeling
@@MrsAlchemist the inked pens must ink while we’re sleeping. It was great news to hear. Next month I’ll be inking less, usually in December it’s far less. I figure out what I want for the following year. The flex, I’m horrible at it. It’s so fun to play with. I gage quite a few flex nibs. Have a wonderful day!
@ That made me laugh so much!! Yes, there are little wizards at light flying around and inking all these pens 😄 I love to play with flex. nibs! And doesn't matter that I don't do the masterclass calligraphy as long as it s fun, right?! Have a wonderful day, too!
Ooooo...what type of pen was that with the Concorde nib? it is lovely!! - Oh I see...didn't realize that was the name - Wood Wonders of NC....will have to visit their site!
in defense of jinhaos… i have several and some of them are great and some of them aren’t. its all about looking at the listing in my opinion. sometimes pens will be marketed as the same model, but the quality from listing to listing varies drastically. some good ones in my opinion: -jinhao 1935 medium and fine nibs are amazing, a very wet writer -jinhao x159 must have the little shield design on the clip, the other model is no good -jinhao 9019 usually pretty good, occasionally there’s a dud, but the transparent models have been good in my experience -jinhao 82 i’ve had a few of these and only gotten one good one. go figure. -jinhao 450 with a med nib? amazing. a workhorse with shimmers. i hope this helps! i seriously love my jinhaos and i want to spread the word. you don’t have to spend a lot of money on a good fountain pen!
@@iver777 I do have 3 different models, not one writes. It’s okay, I’m not buying (at this time) another it’s the great thing about this hobby, we all have what we love. I love the moonman and asvine, some don’t like them, for the same reason I don’t like Jinhaos. Except Asvine, the grip section is thinner. The prices on all are excellent.
CONGRATULATIONS ON BEING IN REMISSION !!!
